I saw an associate really stand up for a customer that was being harassed by a Karen. I really appreciated him for standing up for the customer so that they felt safe in the store. I'll be back at this branch more for sure.

Was in the neighborhood picking up an online order from another major retailer on the block and saw this new addition. I was quite pleased. I shop J Crew online quite often and has never really frequented the Factory store since closest factory store is downtown Brooklyn so I am happy to have one close by. The store is clean, well displayed and well staffed. I was greeted at the door by a more mature Latin X male who saw me trying on a coat and charmingly told me to size down for a more flattering fit and he was right.Let me preface the review by stating this- J. Crew Factory is one of the few factory stores where the quality of the goods isn't significantly lower. I wasn't looking for anything in particular more so conducting research and ended up finding some great buys. As I caroused the store sales associate we're warming and inviting without pouncing on me and making me feel profiled; the assistance was available but not overwhelming. I'd def revisit the store.

Great to see that there is a J. Crew store in Forest Hills but not great to see their price tags. Even with their current promotion 50% off, it's still cheaper to buy J. Crew online than their store for the same exact item!Austin Street seems like it's coming back to life after the pandemic. More retail shops are starting to open up along with many eateries. Hopefully this can help Austin Street become a nice shopping street as it once was when I was a child.
