I absolutely love IKEA, I think it’s just such a great store that has a lot to offer- kinda like ‘Poco’ i’m Germany. This IKEA not only has such a wonderful display area to walk around, but their marketplace downstairs is very nice and easy to navigate. They make it easy to find what you’re looking for and there’s always many people around to help navigate you.I’m a college student who was looking for some dorm supplies and comforters for my bed and IKEA had almost everything I needed- I LOVE LOVE LOVE their new $5 zipper bags as they are super great for transporting all my clothes to my dorm. It’s even better than the ¢99 ones because these can close and have straps on the bottom so you can wear it like a duffel backpack. The only thing I couldn’t find here were warm sheets as they were kinda thin for cooler weather so I went to Macy’s for that.Oh another thing- IKEA has really good meatballs and food in their food court. To be honest don’t judge me but I think it would be a great place for a weird unique date since you can just walk around and talk and then get some food- and maybe even some funky items. I mean hey, last time I got an IKEA mini wallet and this time- an IKEA bucket hat! You never know, have fun!!

I was blown away by this store. It's massive and easy to locate from the Northern State Parkway. It's easy to get lost here but have no fear there are maps and signs available everywhere. There are 2 levels. For the record, don't expect high-end merchandise. Plenty of chic items are available to give your home a facelift at an affordable cost for many items. In addition, there's a cafeteria and food market on site! The bathroom was clean. Even the shopping cart was smooth I wish I could take a ride in it LOL Lastly, there's a host of restaurants available such as Chik Fil-A, Boston Market, Chipotle, etc

Spacious parking lot, on average you will find more items in stock at this location than at the Brooklyn Ikea location (important because the IKEA in Queens has closed down). I was able to place Click/Collect Orders here and have them ready in just minutes instead of waiting hours. The staff here are also friendly and helpful, I was looking for more of an item that I bought out from the shelves and an associate was able to find more of that item in a different area. There are great food options at this store (meatballs, potato pancakes, etc) and there are numerous shopping outlets nearby the IKEA location. It does get very crowded and the lines are long here so be prepared to wait a while to checkout.

Pick up the items you can in their warehouse yourself to avoid their “pick up” fee which is $40. Affordable rugs can be bought here. Line for delivery can be very long so be prepared.

I really appreciate the fact they reconfigured the check out area. The lines used to be ridiculous, but after the change it is much better. Additionally, they are now giving their ikea family members 5 percent of their purchases. When you're done with your shopping pick up an ice cream cone for a dollar. It's a nice treat for all that walking through their maze.

pay for a mattress to be pick up in 2-3 weeks, went back after third week and mattress wasn't there. Went back next week still no mattress, following week still NO MATTRESS... only one worker in the pick-up department finally find out there wasn't a delivery for the mattress I paid and waited for three long weeks.. go to the IKEA in Brooklyn!

This location was good for accessories and marketplace, not so much the bigger items. They had a nice plant section! Popular items were frequently sold out. There's a small dining area by the main checkout to enjoy Ikea favorites. Solid play space. Alas, it never felt like they got into a groove and now it's closing. Will there be deals? Will there be things to buy? Who knows but now would be the time to go! "As we evolve to meet the changing needs of our customers, we've made the difficult decision to close our IKEA Queens location on December 3, 2022. The store will remain open to customers until then, and you can continue to find affordable furnishings for every room in your home at IKEA Queens. November 19 will be the last day returns will be accepted at this location. All returns after November 19 will need to made at another IKEA store or by contacting the IKEA US Customer Support Center at 1-888-888-4532. You can also visit one of our four other IKEA stores in the greater New York and New Jersey area, as well as shop online at IKEA.com. We hope to see you soon!" - ikea.com

FYI, Ikea Rego Park will close at the end of Dec. My first time at this location. I couldn't find these plates I saw online that were supposed...to be available. I didn't bother looking around for too long. I have more expensive dinnerware at home but for every day meals, I'd prefer using a cheaper set, also IKEA dinnerware is much lighter. They had a lot of 365 sets... which is a good set since they're lead and cadmium free. After a few mins we just wanted to leave but before we did, we walked back to the area with groceries and I bought an organic lingonberry jam and L chose some candy that well tastes like highly processed chocolate. We usually don't buy anything artificially flavored but it was a last second purchase. Horrible chocolate Candy btw. Like lil balls of chemicals for $4.99. I think I'll put the rest in the garbage..Hopefully I'll remember to try the jam at least once before it expires. FYI stores generally do not sell display models unless you speak to customer rep...don't blame the cashier. This location is obviously closing since they don't carry as much furniture/items as their other locations. I'll just buy the plates online and have them delivered. Ikea also has 5% off for members ..eligible in-purchase items. 2 stars for the location since there wasn't much to buy and we used self check out. We didn't really see any employees.

The store is a bit overwhelming at first because everything is laid out in front of you as soon as you come down the elevators. There were a few items on sale but many items I checked were without prices. I got a few nice things but maybe they weren’t worth the hassle after all. I loved the small space designs for bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens. It’s nice that it’s convenient to the subways and parking lots, you’ll be hard put to find unpaid parking around this area.

It’s an IKEA. Best time to come is during the week. There’s a parking garage adjacent to the entrance and if you decide to wander around the mall before or after your IKEA experience there’s a mall entrance on the other side of the garage.Unfortunately the dining area has been closed for a ridiculously long amount of time (even the employees are baffled), but if you really want Swedish meatballs they’re available (frozen/take home) in the cafe area near checkout.
