They charged me $781 to change a sensor for an emissions light on the dashboard. Same day, the light is back and the problem with my car jumping when accelerating is still there. I’m afraid to go back and get charged more money.

This review is for the Hillside Honda express service station on Queens Boulevard, I'm going to leave the review here since I can't find the express service, Honda place on yelp.I made an appointment for 330pm. I left work, put on my Waze app to direct me to the Hillside Honda express service place. I arrived exactly at 3:29 PM for my 330pm appointment. When I pull in, the guy who looks through his papers to find your name and appointment couldn't find my name for some reason. I stood there for five minutes, waiting for him to figure it out. He asked if I had an email or text message confirmation so I pulled it out and showed it to him. He wrote my car in and I went inside. When I go inside, there's a lady ahead of me talking to Fidel, the guy who is usually at the counter. I'm standing there for another 3 to 4 minutes waiting for him to finish with her so I can talk to him about my car. [Keep in mind at this point I have now been here for about 8 minutes. - 3:38pm] While he's talking to her, I overhear him say to this woman that there are plenty of cars ahead of her and that they're short staffed and he's asking her to be patient. When he finishes with her and I walk up to the counter, he seems to start to have some kind of computer issue and he's clicking around for about a minute, then he figures it out. We start to talk about my car (I needed an oil change, an inspection, and my brakes checked) and I specifically say to him that if they're busy, I can simply go home (because I live 5 minutes away) and they can call me when my car is ready because I wasn't in the mood to sit in a waiting room for hours. Fidel says to me "no it's fine, we close at 4:30 PM so you should be good", so I decide to stay and wait. At this point I have now been at this Honda station for about 10 minutes before I sit down in the waiting room - 3:42pm. After about an hour (4:45pm), Fidel called my name, and I'm thinking my car is ready to be picked up. I get to the counter and this man tells me that I need a laundry list of things done to my car in order to pass my inspection. He tells me how bad my brakes are, "but everyone is going home because they were supposed to close at 4:30". I was very confused by what he was saying to me because I didn't understand why their closing time was my problem. My appointment was at 3:30, I arrived at 3:30 and I've been sitting here for over an hour. So I would assume as a business, if someone makes an appointment, that everybody stays and completes all the appointments for the day before they go home. But no. He literally tells me to "drive safely" and come back tomorrow. NOTHING had been completed on my car So essentially, I have to leave work early AGAIN and come sit in the waiting room for another hour OR LONGER!!! So I say to Fidel that that makes absolutely no sense. I've been here since 330 and nothing was done to my car? And now you're telling me to leave and COME BACK AGAIN?? I don't have time to keep leaving my job early to come sit here. He decides to get snappy with me and says "you got here at 3:42". So I snapped back at him and said "no, I got here at 3:30." He looks annoyed and starts to walk out to where the mechanics are to "see what he can do". As he's walking out, I say to myself out loud "what was the point of me making my appointment?". He snaps at me AGAIN as he's walking out the door and says "you got here at 3:42". As irritated as I was with the entire situation plus him gaslighting me telling me I arrived later than I did, I decided to just keep my mouth shut because I don't want these people to mess up my car and end up costing me more money. So I just go and sit back down. After sitting in this waiting room for ANOTHER 45 minutes, he calls me up again and tells me that they were able to do my brakes and some other nonsense but they weren't able to do the inspection because I had a brake light out

Very unprofessional service, I’m not sure what kind of business they run but they seem to be miserable when working, the white guy with tattoo’s with long hair with green eyes is very disgusting with his mouth, I’m not sure why he even has a job. You definitely make Honda look very bad. Your a disappointment.

BUYER BEWARE -- DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HILLSIDE HONDA, JAMAICA, NY. This is additional to my review on Hillside Honda website. They are the worse, liars and con artists (see my review on their site). So I reported them to BBB and their response was lies, adding repairs not related from a year ago and fabricating new documents -- they will not stop at anything to lie and cheat their customers. They did $2300 worth of part changes on my car not needed and charged me for Honda parts and put in undermarket. Additionally, I had only brought my car in for a noise on the right and they never checked it or ran they car to see what it was -- they they blatently lied to the Better Business Bureau -- unethical losers!!!!!IF YOUR HONDA IS IN NEED OF REPAIR GO ANYWHERE ELSE -- THEY WILL LIE, CON YOU, CREATE MORE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR CAR THAN BEFORE. buyer

I consistently make oil change appointments for 9am, figuring they can't be completely behind so early in the day. Sure enough, oil changes still take like 90 minutes, despite having an appointment. Get this to under an hour and you'll get a 4-star review from me.
