The experience here was wonderful because the people there were helpful. The store sells mostly imported things and sells food and other stuff. My sister and I went into the store and bought plenty of stickers because they were on sale, and both my niece and nephew loved them.

I've been to the real one in Japan. Haven't been to the one in New York yet. Very nice store with a lil bit of everything. Similar to a dollar store.

They have a lot of cute stuff from housewares to stationary to snacks. It gets crowded though. Best time to come in is on a weekday at opening when everything is freshly stocked and it's not crowded. I wish they listed the dollar prices but they show only japanese currency.

When into this store today and had a quick question regarding if an item is available so I approached the register. The nice guy was really busy ringing customers up so I approached the girl who was standing next to him and said " excuse me I have question" and she said "ah I'm sorry I'm on break " really? She could answer one quick question? While her coworker was so busy he did acknowledge me and answered me instead. I was so turned off that I walked out and left my basket of goods there which was probably $85 worth of items.

I love Daiso! The price is super cheap and you can get all kinds of items you need for your home improvement projects. I come here at least once every month. I can’t live without it. Highly recommended.
