Stopped in today at 5am to a big smile and a very clean gym. All weights were away from the night before and a very clean locker room. Will be back when Im in the area.

I've been a member of Crunch Rochdale for about a month now. The gym is kept cleaned and staff is always friendly. Getting a fitness trainer was the best decision I could have made and worth every penny.I'm extremely satisfied with Jalen my fitness trainer. He is very patient, takes time to answer all my questions and really pushes me to do my best. Both managers Peter and Nashawn took the time to address all my concerns. Peter even called me twice to see how my workouts were going. I've been a member of several gyms and never received the attention I'm getting at Crunch. I would most definitely recommend this gym. I wish I could give 10 stars for Jalen.

The location is accessible and theres parking. Friendly atmosphere and lots of different equipment. Prices are reasonable...when I joined I was told they would have a step aerobics class. Recently I was told corporate said no. I asked about a spin class as well. Byos turned out to be a success so why not incorporate a step class in the schedule? Get with the times Crunch. I spoke with one of the instructors and she said she would like to do the class herself.

This gym is manageable and enjoyable for providing a place to exercise, including the use of heavy bags for personal fitness and good equipment. But i have a few concerns and there is none more prevalent than the upsurge of “boxing“/sparring in the hitzone which is incredibly unsafe. The so called boxing/sparring happens between patrons and gym staff and most times without the presence of patrons so just the gym staff sparring with each other. this is highly unsafe and unprofessional. As these people do not have on proper protective gear and even more scary is the fact that all of them appear to be untrained. The hitzone also does not have a canvas to support anyone if they fall or land on their heads. There are no ring ropes to prevent falling and their activity often intrudes on the general space of paying patrons. My biggest concern is that someone will suffer a serious injury while performing substandard sparring techniques. THIS IS A SERIOUS LIABILITY ISSUE from a legal standpoint and upper management should either stop patrons & staff from boxing/sparring with each other or create a safe space for this.

They need to either hire new maintenance staff. None of the wipe machines work. That means the gym isn't being serviced properly which means there can be a spread of covid-19 at this location.

I joined this gym last Thanksgiving. It has been some time since I hit the weight room. I quickly got back into a routine. One particular staff member made me feel welcome from my first day there. They keep the place clean. Downtime on broken machinery doesn't last too long. The classes look intense. I've been managing my expectations, and crushing my strength and fitness goals. Parking is never an issue.

Hello, the biggest issue with this gym aside from overcrowding is how unsafe it has become .After I completed my work out yesterday,I returned to the locker room and noticed it was broken and my wallet was stolen. I reported the incident to the front desk manager who did her best to help , but unfortunately, she could not do much as the culprit couldn’t be identified. While I was filing a formal complaint, another young man reported that his belongings were also stolen from his locker. Months ago, an employee told me that this was a common occurrence at the gym. Lack of property safety seems to be a persistent issue at this crunch location.I suspect the increase in theft correlates with the rise of discounted memberships and guest passes.

Been a member since July of 2022. I have had reasonable gains since joining and love the experience. I decided not to do the customer kickoff because I really don't fancy personal training. Just recently one of the trainers Kendall Greer sugested a quick routine for me. What a self less act on his part. He knew I didn't want training but offered a quick point to me that could possible can make a big change in my body. He had no financial incentive but did it anyway. I wish the whole world was like that. It's gives me more hope . Thanks Kendall, Thanks Crunch

Been a member for about 2 months now. It has every machine/piece of equipment I need. It feels clean. The staff is friendly. It is inexpensive. It is open early and closes late. One thing I like a lot is that they asked about personal training and after I said I didn't want it they weren't pushy about it. Working out there has me feeling good and feeling strong.

Great atmosphere! The help in the front tries to give all the information they can and ask trainers as well just to make sure we are all on the same page.

I have been working out at a very young and I have been to many gyms like LA fitness , planet, 24, harbor and many more including a few crunch like the one in Hempstead and Bellmore but I can say this gym is by far the best gym I've been to. Apart from being a bit smaller than most gyms I can say I never struggle looking for a cable or machine to use . The staff have always made me feel at home with their great energy and I always look forward to coming in and seeing them on top of getting my workout done . One thing I will say is the music . I definitely think a bit of rap would be more better apart from what they always play . Like Jcole , Kendrick but that's just my personal preference. I always recommend getting some sessions done with the trainers because they are amazing and I have trained with Eli and he always pushed me to my limit and I needed that . I love love love this place .

Honestly, this is by far the worst gym I've been to. The staff at the front is pretty nice, but the personal training personnel is wishy-washy.I will start by stating this, I signed up online for the 3 day pass online. Fair enough, and then signed up for the monthly membership. To cancel you have to give them 30 days advance notice for their "system" to process and you have to do it in person, even though you can sign up online.Personal Training is a scam. All the trainer does is have you on the machines with the directions on them. If I wanted to use those, I would have done it on my own. I sign up for you to properly teach me how to use the dumbbells, deadlifts and the other complicated items such as the pully machines.Personal training personnel is not honest. I signed up on a Sunday no problems. I went to the gym on the weekdays from 730 to close. To cancel personal training I need to go in person on a weekday before 7 because that's when the personal training manager is there. What bologna! You should have a manager until closing. I shouldn't have to leave my job early to get there before 7 to cancel a gym membership, talk about the absolute inconvenience! Oh btw you need to cancel a month in advance and when you do, they want to charge you for 4 more sessions that you absolutely do not want before the "system" can fully process. Its 2022/23 and Crunch is working on an outdated "system." There is no excuse for that. Also, whoever you talk to on the phone does not matter because they don't honor their word when you go in person.Lastly, I put my member ship on freeze because I thought maybe I'll give it another chance later on. I completely forget and I received and email from the GM stating I need to update my payment method. Um no.. Why couldn't you send an email stating my membership was about to unfreeze but you are emailing me about payment? No, I would not recommend this gym as there are many better gyms out there. The customer service stinks and it is mostly impart due to the "system." People are going to pay for what they want/need regardless, but when you are being sneaky with their money there are going to be problems. That's why I gave Crunch Fitness Rochdale 1 Star.

Great staff (amiable, helpful, good vibes). It's very spacious for a Blink Fitness Gym, at least from the ones I've been to. They have everything you need; from power lifters to your average Planet Fitness gym rats.

Doing this review for my mother who I took to the gym. These people are ridiculous. I would give them 0 if I could. First a few weeks after signing up, someone used her card to purchase stocks. Then when she froze her membership because they told her ohhh don’t cancel just freeze it, she called to keep freezing it only to be called by collectors stating that she owed them $95+ because they didn’t freeze it after she called them. These people are unprofessional and it’s ridiculous to be paying and annual fee when you haven’t been in the gym for over a year. Work on tell people when they wanna sign up. Ohhh just so u know u have to pay to cancel ur personal trainer etc. so go there if u want ur money to be stolen.
