Stayed in this hotel and the experience was worse from any Marriott we ever stayed in, the hotel staff her name was Samantha she checked us in and gave a underground corner room which had stains on the bed, was not cleaned and it seemed it was used by someone else, the room was small and depressing. When we asked to exchange with a different room, Samantha told she could not do that because we have stayed almost like 20 mins in the room, there were other rooms we could see on the hotel site which were available, she also lied that there were no rooms available. The hotel staff is rude and not accomodative to any requests made by guests.Overall: Bad experience due to inexperienced and rude staff.

Would not stay here again. Housekeeping forgot the water for the room and the jar for the coffee maker... breakfastfrom the bistro was stone cold except the coffee...they were pretty inflexible on late check out and refused to even hold my bags but did so for guests who made the request after me. Left a bad taste.

Very unprofessional establishment. Untrustworthy Staff. The front desk staff held a very unprofessional conversation about another worker that didn’t like. While I waited to speak with the housekeeping manager. I stayed 12/8-12/10. I left my daughter birthday 12x10 portrait on top of ac in front window. I returned the same day and was taken down to Lost and found nothing.They advised me to call and they could locate the person that cleaned the room and ask. I spoke to the housekeeping manager she was very rude and said the house keeper found nothing. It was actually not their responsibility. A 12x10 pic ok. They threw it away.They put a BAD NAMEON MARRIOTT!

Forced to stay here when I missed my connection at JFK. Rooms comfortable enough.It's just at the side of the expressway - with nowhere to go and nothing to see.They charged my credit card twice. Refused to give a refund when I rang. Fought the credit card company when I got them to refund one of the changes.Won't be staying again if I have the choice.

I will not go to this place again. We had booked two rooms on booking and had already paid for the rooms. However, when we checked out the next day, she told me that we needed to pay for parking and gave me my credit card. I gave it to her. She gave me two bills, one was for parking and the other was for room. We explained that we had already paid. She said you don’t need to pay for the room, only for the parking. That's fine, but after I checked my mobile banking, they charged me for the room. I was very angry. Why did you charge more for the third room without informing me? What's more, we didn't stay in the third room. We didn't ask for a third room and you charged an unreasonable fee. We called the hotel manager and her name was Lisa and asked for a refund. Lisa was very rude and impatiently told me that it was not their problem but the booking's fault that you had to pay. Booking call, but I called the hotel the day before and they told me that we had three rooms. I said that we only had two rooms and had already paid on booking. My card was given to the hotel. The front desk bill was also given to me by the hotel front desk, and then I was charged for an extra room. Needless to say, I knew it was the hotel's fault, but they refused to admit it and didn't handle it for me. I had no choice but to call Booking. I made a complaint on the phone and their service was very good. They helped me contact the hotel and finally said they would refund us. I was really speechless. I will never go to such an unscrupulous hotel again. It’s disgusting????

Amanda at the front was awesome. Very friendly and attentive, she made our stay amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel. Clean rooms, all the amenities you need with reasonable rates.Rooms: Clean big rooms compared to other hotel in the area.

We been here for 4 days and we will be staying for few more days. When we arrived they asked us if we wanted to get our room cleaned automatically or by request and we clearly said automatically. Due to medical reasons, we have been coming to the hotel only at night and our room has not been cleaned once. This morning I called front desk at 7:20 am asking the front desk receptionist who calls her self Elizabeth, which btw has the worst attitude ever and she is the girl with bleach highlights. I asked her to have our room cleaned and her response was well we’ll try, our house keeping is already out cleaning and I’ll try to put in the request. I explained her that my family was getting released from the hospital today and we needed our room to be cleaned, also expressed that even though we requested to be cleaned daily automatically it has not been done. No empathy, no sense of service or anything, her response again and again “I’ll try”. When I asked her to speak to a supervisor she said that they had no manager and refused to provide me any information from any supervisor. I can’t understand why it would be so hard to clean a small room when I am sending my request at 7 ish am and refusing to give me any supervisor information has a lot to say about her performance ? This is by far one of the worsts Marriott’s I’ve ever stayed. Front desk has no work ethics or a sense of what customer service is.

The rooms are clean and quiet, I suggest one away form the highway. The staff is super friendly. They take real pride in making your stay as comfortable as possible. The bar/restaurant is excellent.

We stayed at the hotel in July, during our first family trip in New York. Our experience was excellent!! The room we stayed in, was on the 8th floor with an overwhelming view from above. It had a modern and very comfortable setup and it was very very clean. Although we arrived late at night the front desk people made our checkin process very easy and they welcomed us with a smile. All personnel were extremely helpful and polite. Special thanks to Jennifer who treated us like a true friend and gave us advise on what was worth visiting. We should also mention Bar where we could relax, drinking nice cocktails and listening to live jazz music!! Our staying was amazing!! Everything was great so in our next trip to New York we will be staying at Motto for sure!! Strongly recommended.

I came here on a solo trip because I’ve always wanted to visit New York and this hotel was the perfect stay. Service here was amazing the staff was so helpful with great recommendations in the city and around the area. My room felt so homey it was hard to leave !! It’s not a far commute to the city and has a good location perfect for a good sleep with barely any noise from traffic and sirens. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re planning on staying in New York.

The place, overall, is clean and in good order. I received 2 drink vouchers upon check in. These were basically useless for my husband and I. When we went to the bistro to get a drink, we could only choose from 4 cans of sugary spritzer-type beverages. We asked for wine, but that wasn't part of the voucher deal. We couldn't even use them for a coffee in the morning. What a way to make a MB member feel valued! I would just as soon not get any voucher, and not have the expectation. The staff were quite good, kind and affable, but the management person on duty was cold and unwelcoming. If you want a quiet room, ask for one on the "back" side of the building, away from the highway.

Had a quick weekend visit to Queens in August 2023. I chose this property and I found it to be perfect for the area. It is well kept and managed. There is valet parking in the back and an open patio like space to mingle and chill. There is a dining option as well and drinks/lounge as well. The rooms are the right size, well decorated and kept up. Modern as far as a Courtyard goes. Did not experience any issues. Uber friendly and didn't have any challenges getting rides to and from here. Also close to LGA so was able to get to and from airport easily. Definitely recommend.

My flight to Buffalo was cancelled so I stayed at this hotel. The next day i get to the airport and don't have my ID, the girl at the front desk never gave it back to me. Luckily i had my passport on me or I would have missed my flight, not to mention the cost of taking an Uber back to the hotel and back to the airport. I called Courtyard to see if they could mail my ID back to me and the girl told me only if I have a shipping label. So I'm supposed to pay to have my ID shipped ack to me because the girl left it somewhere? That is extremely poor customer service. When we stayed at a Hilton and my wife left her bag of swim clothes there they shipped it to us via FedEx at no charge. Maybe I should become a Hilton Honors member instead?!Rooms: Large TVs that have an actual guide and you can see your hotel bill on the screen.

This hotel was overall pretty great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and kept up. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice and clean, too. I highly recommend this hotel.

I have stayed here at least once as week for the past month and the service is exceptional. Simran at the front desk is awesome. She always has my room ready and accommodates me as a Gold member. The staff at the restaurant/ bar are superb and the drinks are awesome. The food is delicious and I always have an amazing stay. The hotel is extremely clean and I get the best sleep while staying here. Management is diligent and extremely visible. Highly recommend.
