I am in the unpleasant position to leave a 2 star review because of my today’s experience with Anna. I was going to leave one star but I had had a haircut in the past with Nina who is a good hairdresser. I guess that’s why she is always busy. I am not particular with hairdressers so I pick whoever is available in the moment because I never ask anything complicated. Just a straight haircut with a little trim and a blowdry or plain mousse in the end.
Too bad I couldn’t remember Nina’s name today and request for her and got stuck with Anna. I don’t like leaving bad reviews because it could cost someone their business or job but customers must know where they are spending their money. Especially when these kind of services aren’t cheap or free.
Today I spent $65 plus tip for a lousy haircut and blow-dry. I don’t even have that much of hair to begin with. My hair is very fine and plain. Obviously I will not be returning. What kind of hairdresser replies with search in Google when you ask her how to strengthen your weak hair? What’s the point in going to the salon when you can’t even ask a question about your hair. Anna was constantly struggling with trying to cut my hair as if she was using scissors for the first time in her life. The result of course was terrible. I could have done a better job myself at home and it wouldn’t cost me money and time or frustration. Lastly my blow-dry was also bad. Constantly pulling my fragile hair and burning my skin while she was pressing the dryer on my head. She saw my discomfort but proceeded anyway. I guess she is not good in understanding peoples vibes or emotions either.
I left quietly because I don’t like making a scene but, I am also making sure other people know what to expect if they ever decide to visit this salon. Also always ask for prices beforehand because they like to ask you whatever they like in the end. 40 for a cut and 25 for the blowdry after all this is insane for an amateur doing your hair to say the least. Shame on you!!!

Was able to make a same day appointment one afternoon, I just told them what time and that I wanted a trim (I am female with long fine wavy hair). I was so pleased with the demeanor of the people who worked there and the other customers that I knew I wanted to leave a good review half way through my hair cut with Anna. The salon has a comfortable and easy family vibe, just my type, and Anna was kind and present even for my simple trim with layers. She understood my hair type and gave it a complimentary trim with modest layers, and was sure to ask me about the length I wanted. I am relieved to find a humble and professional salon in the neighborhood for regular trims! Men were getting their haircut too, with scissors which I found impressive and old school.

Called to confirm if i needed an appointment for a haircut and their price ranges, but the women had communication issues and refused to give me a price. Advised that i come in for a consultation. In this era where everything is digital and we are on time constraints, it’s wasteful not to provide us with the information we asked over the phone. Why do i need a consultation for a haircut with layers? It’s not rocket science

I've been going to Mike for YEARS and thought it well past time to write a review. He listens, he empathizes, he knows what people are going for. That's so important when the many others seem focused on "up-sells" or begin cutting before a word is spoken. I don't have a negative word to say about this place!

I wear hijab and I was given the privacy to do my hair treatment in peace like everyone else. The owner is so kind and knowledgeable. I loved the hair treatment I did and my haircut. Will be definitely going back.Services: Hairstyling

Muhammad is very helpful and he always give advice on how you should make your hair.. Plus, he always ask how you would like to be cut (by machine, scissors) for your side hair.

Sam did my haircut and she did a fabulous job! This is a hijab friendly salon. They accommodate for Muslim women who want privacy when getting their haircut.
