Brought the car in for an inspection. Smiling attendant ushered us to have a complimentary cup of coffee. Within 5 minutes he said he couldn't do so without repairing the front brakes and replacing the windshield wipers. Wipers were replaced 1 month ago when brakes were inspected during an oil change. Beware of the smile on attendant .... Too bad I didn't read any of the MANY reviews with the same ruse. Will never even purchase gas at this station.

PSA - Oct 2023 - This review is for the mechanic services. ZERO STARS. I took my car here for an inspection and after having my car up on the lift (important later), they stated that my brakes needed changing. Funny enough, my brakes are new - I changed them myself a few weeks back. At that moment, I knew these guys couldn't be trusted. They then proceeded to offer me options to change my brakes and other small things my car 'needed' and refused to pass the inspection unless I did so. All the while holding my car hostage on the the lift. It wasn't until I was adamant that I'm not interested in their services that they then finally released my car and let me go. I'm not one to leave reviews but this sort of blatant crookery should not be ignored. Before posting, I check the other reviews and noticed similar shady practices. BEWARE - STAY AWAY from the MECHANIC SERVICES. I took my car to another place to have it inspected and guess what? Passed inspection and they said there was nothing wrong with my brakes or any other issues.

I brought my vehicle here for an annual NYS vehicle inspection and was told by a mechanic that they will refuse to inspect my vehicle unless I have my front two tires replaced- they stated that they will fail my vehicle because of said tires. I was quoted $400 in total for the replacement of the front two tires and the fee for the NYS vehicle inspection to which I agreed. After everything was completed, I was told to go inside for payment at which point I was asked to pay a total of $475 with undisclosed additional fees. No one could tell me what the extra $75 was for. I was then told by the cashier that he would charge me $399.99 plus tax if I paid in cash- to which I replied I didn't have that much cash on me since it was an unanticipated cost. Being that they refused to release my vehicle to me unless I paid their price, I felt compelled to pay whatever they demanded. I told them I would file a complaint and they laughed what stating in sum/substance that nothing would be done about it anyways. A complaint has been filed with the Department of Consumer Affairs. If you value your time and money, don't pay these grease monkeys any mind- they've brought over archaic practices from their uncivilized countries.

Gas is good and typically clerks are able to assist with payment. But I stopped in there today after changing a coilpack, and I asked them to clear my CEL as I left my scanner in Freeport. Typically as it's plug in a scanner and press the red button, almost all service centers will do it for free, because there's a high chance of an upsell whenever reading the codes. This is why autozone and advance auto and others scan and clear codes for FREE. Well this place wanted $39 bucks. Buyer beware as this is a symptom of unscrupulous shop management.Just for good measure: a scanner itself costs 20 bucks.

Best price and self service at this area. Better than shell, shell is not self service.

The shop fixed my flat tire a couple of years ago without issue. Remembering how I was satisfied with the service, I came back with another flat tire to get it fixed. The technician (1) didn't even say hello and (2) was unprofessional and rude. He waved me off dismissively, shouting that they don't fix flats here. My mom had a similar negative experience here another time. It's totally fine that you don't provide certain services, but you don't have to be rude and unprofessional. Go to Genesis down the road instead.

I went inside to prepay for gas.The attendant looked at me, didn't return the greeting and continued his conversation with a construction worker behind his counter. After standing there for about a minute I realized that he was intentionally ignoring me.So, without saying a word, I turned around and left. I Guess people with my phenol type are not welcome here, therefore he'll LOSE ALL of our business. I'll gladly go to his competition instead.

BP was my favorite gas station, but not anymore after visiting this 204-12 Northern Blvd location. I will never use the BP gas station again for any reason. Here's why. 08/03/22 around 11 AM, I visited this location to use their air pump machine. It cost me 4 quarters to use it. The problem was that it won't pump into the tire. I checked the air spout and it was broken. I reported the issue to the cashier, Ali. When I asked him to check it for me, he had an attitude saying "It's working fine, you just don't know how to use it '' That's what he said even before checking the air pump outside. I told him that I know how to use it and asked him again to check it. Eventually, he checked the air pump outside and told me it's fine. I told him that I will insert 4 quarters again to the machine, so we can inspect it together. He suggested that I should use another air pump. I asked him why I should use another machine when he said it's working fine. I requested a refund for the broken air pump. He said NO. I requested again because I didn't get to use it because it was broken. I requested it multiple times but he refused it again and again. He even said I probably broke it. Really? At this point, this is not about the money, but I wanted to teach him a lesson. I told him that if I'm the one who broke it, call the police and make me pay for it. He said he won't call the police himself, not going to refund the money and asked me to leave. I told him that I will call the police to resolve the issue. He didn't care, he won't refund the money even if I call the police, not even a dime, he said. I called the police and got my money back. Maybe I overreacted for calling the police, but it was necessary for people like Ali.

Idk about their car services but this place is the only place i trust to pump air into my tires. I’ve wasted so much money on different tire pump stations only for the tips to be damaged and it releasing the air instead. The tip once broke last year but they fixed it within a few days. Also love that they charge the same for cash/credit payment.
