I was very impressed by the extreme professionalism displayed by Don Montes. He called and texted several times with ETA updates, treated our Abby with the care and respect she deserves, and transported her safely to the Vet. He was very calm and reassuring to both me and my wife throughout the process. He even called the next morning to check on Abby. We hope we never need his services again, understandably, but wouldn’t hesitate to call him. If I could, I’d give more than 5 stars!

I rate my experience with Ambuvet EXCELLENT! My call back was returned really fast, the service pick up was also very fast. They were gentle transferring my Akita. They were very considerate, respectful and very kind. I highly recommend their services!!Importantly the price was right!!!I highly appreciate and thank them for their service!

Don and Pauly are absolutely wonderful and such a dedicated team. I can’t thank them enough for going the extra mile to successfully transfer my dog for the care he needed during an emergency. We didn’t get the outcome we hoped for, but our dog wouldn’t have had a chance without Ambuvet. Their compassion and professionalism were greatly appreciated.

We needed help for our 86lb Samoyed post leg surgery. He is a nightmare in a car. I called Ambuvet and from the first call was blown away by the professional, competent and caring team I reached out to. They communicated each and every step of the way with me and multiple veterinary practices as we had to transport our boy from one place to another. Thorough. Trustworthy and just good people who know their craft. The veterinary hospital sang their praises from previous experiences as well as this one.Thankful to have found them and thankful for ensuring our pup got the transport care he needed and we got the support we needed. Highly recommend.

EDIT: In response to AmbuVet's statement below, I do apologize for not calling earlier to cancel as my dog was dying in my arms. I received a call from you the moment we got her into a vehicle and that's when I informed you that we were rushing her there on our own and requested to cancel. Having a technician show up to the hospital just to say you did something, collect a signature under duress, and make sure you have witnesses so you get to collect your $225 for transporting a dog 100 feet is a real humanitarian move.********They were not helpful in an emergency and will charge you without providing any services. We needed help transporting our sick puppy because she wouldn't let us move her. Ambuvet told us it would be over an hour before they could get here.We ended up getting her into a car ourselves, but by then it was too late and she started having seizures. Our dog was dying before our very eyes. We requested to cancel their services within 15 minutes of calling and they still charged us despite providing NO help. They have no compassion. I understand having limited availability, but to charge hundreds as she died despite not providing any actual care is unthinkable.

They were not helpful in an emergency and will charge you without providing any services. We needed help transporting our sick puppy because she wouldn't let us move her. Ambuvet told us it would be over an hour before they could get here. We ended up getting her into a car ourselves, but by then it was too late and she started having seizures. Our dog was dying before our very eyes. We requested to cancel their services within 15 minutes of calling and they still charged us despite providing NO help. They have no compassion. I understand having limited availability, but to charge hundreds as she died despite not providing any actual care is unthinkable.

My dog was just transported to Animal Medical Center in New York using AmbuVet. I don’t know the outcome, but I am so grateful for this service. They were professional. They were kind and caring, and they managed expectations. They delivered the time they promised. They never gave me false hope, and they explained every step of the process. I could not ask for better service. If you need your animal transported, you would be lucky to be able to use these people. Thank you AmbuVet. I appreciate you and Squirt does too.

I was very lucky. They were in the area so I didn’t have to wait long. They were very professional. They seemed to know what they were doing which was calming for me. They handled me and my dog with care and understanding.

We were surprised by heart failure in our 2 year old kitty. She needed immediate transport to a hospital and we couldn’t imagine taking her in a taxi. We called Ambuvet and they made sure that Lilith was comfortable and stable, sent pictures during the ride and called to check on her later. She is alive thanks to them. Don’s demeanor will keep any animal calm and Lilith knew she was in good hands

Amazing people and care for our sick puppy Gracie. Truly concerned about doing the best for all of us. Followed up to see how Gracie was doing. We cant recommend them enough. If you ever find yourself needing a pet ambulance they are incredible!

Truly thankful for Don and his team! I could not recommend their services and their care highly enough. They helped our dog Bodie as best as they could through his final weeks and we're always responsive to his unpredictable and frequent needs. Our transportation options were severely limited due to Bodie's condition (which involves frequent nosebleeds), and Ambuvet made getting him to and from for both scheduled appointments and emergency situations as seamless as it could be given the situation. Bodie had been scared of cars / carsick his whole life, but working with Ambuvet, he began to try to get in their van himself when they arrived. Truly a sign of their world-class care. Thank you to Don and the Ambuvet team for all their help, we will not forget it.

They helped save our dog's life. Our dog was in critical condition and needed to be transferred to another facility for lifesaving care and surgery but was not stable enough for us to transport him ourselves. They came to NJ in the middle of the night and, without them, I don't know if saving our dog would have been possible. We are forever grateful.

These guys are a life-saver (literally)! My 130 pound dog injured his paw and we had no way to transport him to the local animal hospital. Donald, one of the vet techs, drove all the way out to Long Island with only a couple of hour notice and helped lift/safely transport Tigger - my pup/best friend. Thanks Donald and AmbuVet! You guys are amazing ?!
