I think i was scammed. I purchased a pack of chicken thighs on June 29. It had a "special" sticker on it, which usually means that the meat is near its date and they've reduced the price to sell it immediately. However the chicken was dated July 7. The next day, my fridge reeked of old meat. Another day went by before i opened the meat and it smelled terrible and had gone bad in my fridge in under 3 days.I think they repacked it and with a new label (and false expiration) because it was well within the expiration date (still is despite smelling up my fridge)So yeah, be mindful of the "manager's special" meat.

This store really need to hire better people. The spanish guy that's the deli person is very rude and has a very nasty attitude. I'm in the store talking on the phone trying to figure out if I wanted a sandwich or to just buy $5 worth of cold cut and make my own sandwich. I greeted him "Hello" as any respectable person would do. He turns around and say "oh you don't see me working, you have to relax, I'm sitting here making a sandwich". Then sarcastically demonstrate you can't see". Im on the phone and I had to ask my mother did I say anything wrong to him? She goes no you just said hello. So I proceeded to say Mister I'm on the phone I'm not paying attention to what you're doing I only said hello, would you have liked me to greet you "Hello b%## make my sandwich"? Now at this point I'm confused. Then try to play it off because he felt d**** and going to respond "now I can take your order". At this point I don't even want someone with a nasty attitude like that to make my food. I walked right out. Get it together management before I call I.C.E. Not his first time he was rude the last time my boyfriend came for a sandwich. If you don’t like black people don’t work in our neighborhood.

This supermarket is small. The produce is fresh and it is well stocked. However, it is expensive and the meat section has the very basic, not a lot of variety.
