I had a craving for a classic ham hero. There are Bodega's on every other corner in my neighborood but many of them do not serve pork.. Turkey Ham doesn't cut it for me so I headed over to Farmer's Blvd. This review is for the deli as I have never shopped their market for groceries. The deli has an extensive menu posted with hot food from their grill, salads and sandwiches. I ordered ham, lettuce, tomato, provolone cheese with honey mustard and vinegar on a hero. Great sandwich but I took off one star for two reasons, I'd asked for my ham to be shredded and it wasn't, the hero roll wasn't as fresh as I would have preferred, the roll wasn't stale but it didn't have that crusty, soft italian hero roll texture. No deal breakers here though..hero was great and a great deal at only $6! I'll be back for another..

I've order from here a few times but this time will be my last. Today I called about 20 times before someone finally picked up. My order was wrong, and the delivery guy was extremely rude. I work at a school we are always making big orders which is why people normally is happy to hear from us. I ordered a hungry man sandwich and I found a cucumber in it, did not understand why. I tried calling again but the phone is either busy or rings for long period of times and no one picks up.. Never again. Very upset.

This is a deli in a small grocery store. It's the best deli in the neighborhood. All food items are fresh. J&T has breakfast foods, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, paninis, wraps, etc. It's usually busy around the typical breakfast and lunch peak hours, but you can call in your order ahead of time which helps tremendously. Otherwise, it is worth the wait if you didn't think to call in ahead of time. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a gourmet deli, but if you're looking for a typical NY deli sandwich or breakfast this is the place to go.

When I first moved to this neighborhood I found it difficult to find a good local deli/breakfast spot.a friend recommended the supermarket and at first I was skeptical because I mean it's a supermarket but I swear to God they have the best delivery in the area in terms of typical American breakfast and lunch. Great staff and good food! Please note that there's $10 minimum but no delivery charge when you call them directly to order.
