This branch of the post office in Queens Village has got some real issues, they cannot complete basic tasks that are asked of them such as “mail hold”
You complete the form hand it in and your mail continues to be delivered as if you never put in a request for a mail hold and when you go to this branch and inquire, after waiting about 20 minutes for a supervisor, they give you some song and dance about “mistakes happen, people make errors” and I’m willing to accept thatbut the same error and the same mistake every single day that’s just plain stupidity

Mail is not delivered daily. People living in Queens Village on 107th Avenue sometimes don't receive any mail for like 2 or more days; or it's delivered so late in the day.

There seem to be a racial component depending on the time you go to the post office. The service is good for the most part. When I mail packages and boxes when the east Indian decent personnel is there my packages are missing. One occasion I had an important envelope that needed a money order before I could seal it. The east Indian lady ask me not to seal it and pulled up a small piece of scotch tape.The packages arrived to its destination later than expected,. Issues need to be addressed. .I observe the way they treat certain customers,, its not just that location. Don't migraine to another country with your former countries ignorant beliefs and behaviors.

I had no bad experience with this post office doing passport service. The Indian lady was very helpful and knew what she was doing. The only problem was that photo service was broken. Try to bring your own photos for your passport before you go. It took me about 3 weeks for my passport to come.

They need to close this post office.. bad customer service . Packages get lost all the time .. deliveries NEVER SHOW UP .. don’t even deserve a star, one star is being super nice. Should put people who actually want to work

I wish I could leave less. I saw the reviews before and regretted that I didn’t look into them before. I had a passport appointment for today at 9AM. I got there at 8:50 like instructed and waited in the lobby. No big deal. Once the post office opened, I went on line designated for passports. The regular line for mail went into the lobby and only one clerk worked behind the counter who was more concerned advertising his real estate ventures and giving customers his cards instead of working on the line. Waited, waited, waited until 9:30AM when the window finally opened and a line was already formed behind me. No acknowledgement concerning the wait time or opening late. Clerk asked for my photo. I didn’t have one because my appointment was for a passport and photo. She said she couldn’t help me. I thought she misunderstood so I explained that I scheduled a photo appointment as well. She told me that their camera was broken, again no acknowledgment of any remorse or sympathy. I asked what my options were, she simply told me to try to get a photo and come back again. I will never come back.

Very rude on the phone. Called to ask why my Passport application is not picked up when I paid for Express delivery. No concern for others until you are in same situation.?

STAFF CC THEFT, I Left My Credit Card There By Accident and All of A Sudden an Unauthorized Online Transaction, You have to know someone's address and billing code to pull that off... (hint hint, from on my mail). June 29, 2023 @ 12:26pm. Proof of Receipt Right Here, Too, that this is a legit complaint. .. Y#ELP don't try to block truth If the receipt not showing. Worst postal office ,mail from previous tenants years ago still get put in lobby or mailboxes. Mail that should arrive doesn't or it arrives 3 weeks later . Packages that are due to arrive don't then get told I picked it up at 7 pm when they closed . Who's working and are they even working ? Aren't there laws on how our mail is handled ?

The indian worker has got be one of the rudest person ive ever met. From the start he had such a bad attitude and even tried condeceding me. I am hispanic and since he was already annoyed i guess for having to do his job he went as far to question if i even spoke english.... as if i am not a native speaker. He had a stronger Accent than me and tried to make me seem like an idiot. Terrible Will be avoiding for future purposes.

one of the worst customer service.had passport appointment today waited for almost an hour and when came to counter clerk lady told their photo service is not available which made me crazy.she said we are informing everyone.i told her i have been here i haven't heard anyone announcing that except hearing other clerks speaking in foreign language with each other.Everyone's face looks so angry.I would never ever come to this post office.Stay away from this post office.just getting paid for providing poor customer service.

Regrettably, I had a deeply disappointing experience with USPS during the holidays. I sent a package of significant value to my family, only to discover that it had been stolen upon arrival. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've encountered such an issue, and it leads me to believe that there may be a recurring problem within the USPS system, possibly involving staff.It's disheartening to find that the trust we place in this company to ensure the safe and secure delivery of our mail has been compromised. Sending packages to surprise our loved ones is a meaningful effort, and it's distressing to think that our intentions are thwarted by the very company we rely on for reliable service.I initially considered the possibility of bad luck, but repeated incidents of package theft suggest a more systemic issue. The lack of remorse or sympathy from USPS staff adds to the frustration, especially considering the hard work customers put into sending thoughtful gifts to their families.I hope USPS takes immediate action to investigate and address this matter comprehensively. Customers should feel confident that their packages will be handled with care and delivered securely. I am beyond disappointed in how the system currently operates and sincerely hope for improvements.To those reading this review, exercise caution when using USPS services, especially for valuable items. Unfortunately, it seems that packages may go missing, and this is something everyone should be aware of, particularly when dealing with expensive shipments.

Lost my package from Christmas and said that they STILL couldn’t give it to me now 1/8/24 because of “processing” . I reordered on Amazon and got it the next day from another facility. AWFUL service. Slow and unhelpful.
