“My go to mechanic shop for maintenance on my x3. Tony is a great guy, and makes you understand what's wrong and what needs to be done first. I've been coming here for the past 5 years. They took care of my old 07' Chevy blazer to my current BMW X3. Top of the line service. Mechanics are competent. They take care of your vehicle. Space inside waiting area is a bit tight. They sell snacks and offer you coffee while you wait. Currently everyone in the shop is wearing mask and gloves.”

“Amazing service from Hawthorne!! You know these days it's very difficult to find an honest mechanic because a lot of them love to rip you off. I went there today to do something very simple, the owner stopped everything to help me right away. I even tried to give him a tip, but he refused and said give it to someone in need. I would definitely go back to Hawthorne and I would feel at ease. Not worrying about my car and not worrying if the mechanic would tack on a lot of unnecessary repairs. Highly recommended!!”

“Eve and her team (Justin & Lance) is just fantastic! I wished I had found them sooner! I initially came here to replace a worn out tire and they took me in and replaced it very quickly with my used tire. I proceeded to ask about their services and reminded myself I must come back to perform more maintenance services. Honesty is the best policy for any business and they exemplify just that! They took great care of my car. I went there for replacement of all (4) Rotors and (4) Brake Pads. They gave some checks on a few things that I asked about and they said it was good. They could have told me it needs to be replaced and charged me more money but they didn't. Kudos on being honest! It is appreciated! They were super nice and welcoming. “I'm a distrustful person by nature. Humans are always trying to get over on other humans. I guess it's a form of survival of the fittest. So, when I come across genuinely good humans (especially in the auto repair industry) I am shocked and dismayed.The lads over Chris' Service Center are genuinely good humans. They have serviced my vehicles for 7 or 8 years. Every time, I have been there they have been transparent as to what they have done or will do. They won't surprise you with, "I had to..." Nyet. They call you before they do anything to your vehicle. They advise. No pressure.Ronnie is the main dude at Chris'. He is patient and non patronizing. I know nothing about cars except for how to drive them. Does Ronnie know? Yes. Does he spew automotive jargon when I visit? Nyet. He patiently explains.One time my wife, a driving neophyte, busted the side view mirror. I admit I wasn't too happy with the situation as I am very fond of my money. I may even have been a little upset, but Ronnie related to my wife that such things happen to all of us. It made her feel better. It was very nice. And he proceeded to order a mirror and eventually fixed everything. He even was nice enough to buff the tiny scratches (no charge)--- even nicer.When was I last there? Yesterday. I had an oil change and my inspection. I dropped it off at 7 am and it was ready for me by 9 am.Furthermore, the gas attendant, an Ecuadorian like me, always courteous and efficient.If y'all need work done on your car--- take it to Chris' Service Center.Services: Tires”

“I have been going to Black Rock for years to service my cars. Let me first start off by saying I lived in Flushing and now Long Island, and I still bring my cars here. I am what you call a LOYAL customer. Everyone at this shop is professional, accommodating and more importantly HONEST.
