“Absolutely amazing daycare that truly cares! All teachers at Prospect are wonderful and are there to encourage, assist and help. Every little request is taken into consideration and is easily addressed. They know every one of their students really well with his/her preferences and nuances.
I greatly appreciate the culture of changing into indoor shoes as you go inside. Prospect recognizes the necessity of outdoor play regardless of the weather and requires that everybody has appropriate outdoor gear to stay warm and dry. Prospect selects its toys wisely. They are not stocked with every single car and doll available on the market; instead, they have every single building kit, puzzle, and block set imaginable. They encourage focused play and critical thinking as well as imaginative play and interaction with other kids. And, needless to say, after just one year at Prospect Academy, my son is truly bilingual.
Childcare is not just a job for Prospect, it is what they do, it is their craft, and I am very thankful for that!”

200 Old Tarrytown Rd, White Plains“My 3 children just spent their first summer at Mohawk Day Camp and they can’t wait to go back next summer. Sending them there was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions I’ve made as a parent. After my 10-year-old daughter’s challenging school year dealing with bullies, she made so many new friends at camp that she adored and felt comfortable trying new things with (rock wall climbing, the flying squirrel, and the high ropes course just to name a few). Her self-confidence skyrocketed and she can’t wait to add on the 1-week sleep-away option that’s offered by the camp next summer so she can go away with all of her new camp friends. She also loved the ability to build her own weekly schedule by selecting activities that she was the most interested in for her choice and elective periods. It definitely made her feel more independent and “like an adult” as she says, being able to spend more time doing the activities that she loves. My 6-year-old son who had no interest in sports prior to camp found his love for tennis (which we never would have thought of trying on our own) and he was so excited to work towards reaching new swimming levels. He would come home grinning from ear-to-ear each time he received his light-up card showing that he moved up. My son can also be very emotional at times and Amanda was a miracle worker. She found the best ways to help my son regulate how he was feeling and keep the fun going. My 3-year-old daughter began camp with a speech delay and ended camp talking non-stop despite her lapse in services over the summer. She came home singing so many cute songs (she’s still singing the watermelon song on a daily basis), and was so excited to tell me about what she did at camp that it definitely motivated her to try harder to formulate full sentences. And I know that my youngest is very strong-willed and can be very stubborn at times but her counselors were so patient with her all summer long. Not only was I receiving daily pics via the Mohawk App, but Valerin always made sure to communicate how my daughter’s day went which made me feel much more comfortable with her being there for full days at such a young age. Valerin also never gave up when my daughter refused instructional swim and would only participate during recreational (she was so used to just playing in pools prior to camp and definitely put up a fight at first). Valerin had the whole group cheering my daughter on and getting her excited to practice different swimming skills. The day she received her first moving up card, I actually found her hugging it in her sleep after she went to bed which was the cutest thing. She was so proud of herself.
Bottom line, if you want the absolute best summer experience for your child then send them to Mohawk! Between the endless daily activities, the awesome special events, and the phenomenal staff, your kids will have the time of their life! I couldn’t be happier with my decision to send my kids there this summer and they all can't wait to go back.”

530 N State Rd, Briarcliff Manor“Sending my child to TLE has been an absolute joy! Paola in Prepper B works wonders with the children, creating a perfect blend of fun and learning. Her magic touch ensures the kids are engaged and happy every day. Rebecca, the Director, is incredibly informative and keeps us in the loop with everything. Highly recommended for a place where happy truly happens all the time! We also need to thank the other leaders Julie and Ms. Yummy (who keeps the children so well fes!).”

Our child loves going to school and is safe, having fun, socializing with other kids and is beyond well taken care of - we've been going since 5 months old! The daily activities and curriculum are incredible. The app is wonderful to be updated on what's happening each day. We are so happy with the choice we made to go to Bright Horizons at Westchester Executive Park!”

35 Valley Ave, Elmsford“I am so grateful to the staff here. I was so stressed trying to juggle 2 kids under 3, sending my toddler here twice per week has really helped my mental health. The staff are so kind to her, they have cameras so you can see everything. My daughter has improved her speech and doesn’t seem as anxious in social settings.”

25 Old Jackson Ave, Hastings-On-Hudson“We love this place. It has a great location with a extremely spacious playground and the feeling you are in the countryside. Svitlana is a great educator and the kids absolutely love her. I definitely recommend it.”
“Our son is the second child that has attended The Little Red because we were so impressed with Anna a few years ago when our daughter was there. His verbal, behavioral and social skills have advanced incredibly since September. He is always talking about his friends, Mrs. M/Ms. Noelle and all of the things he has done that day. Anna has a different weekly theme which includes stories, arts and crafts, sensory bin, etc. The children not only work on their communication and behavioral skills, but also gross and fine motor skills as well. The class size is small with 6 children per 2 adults which allows the children to connect with each other and enhance their learning. Anna is also wonderful with potty training and will give advice on any issues/concerns you may have with your childs learning/behavior. We are sad that the school year is coming to an end because it means that our family’s time is up with Anna. I would not hesitate recommending TLR to anyone as it is a caring and enriching environment for your child.”
“Ms. Dina & the staff are incredible to work with. You can feel the school slathered with love and respect. They really meet the child where they are at and find the perfect balance for each child they are given. My son struggled at his last PreK. This school has made a WORLD of difference in our home and our son’s ability to regulate and learn with love and care. Highest respect!”
“Pooh & Friends is a great day care. I honestly enjoyed having my son Jonah there. He loved the staff and his friends. Ms. Barbara is an amazing person and so is her kind staff. Both my wife and I are truly grateful to them.”

999 Wilmot Rd, Scarsdale“This review is for the aquatic program at JCC. We could not find a better place for our swimming enthusiast 4 year old! Brandon, his coach, does a fabulous job! It’s been a while since I have seen someone so interested in his job! He’s so patient with little kids, always meets him with a big smile that doesn’t fade. My kid loves the water but I can see those kids who are a little nervous are also making progress. The pools is nice and big. Tuition is reasonable.”

2051 Palmer Ave, Larchmont“In 2015, Discovering Me welcomed our family, and now after 8 years and 3 children in the program we must sadly say our goodbyes. We feel so grateful to have found this program!Discovering Me provides a child friendly learning environment, with many opportunities for kids to be independent. All three of my children mastered many self help skills needed for everyday tasks, that made my life a whole lot easier. The program maintains positive adult-child relationships, and encourages family engagement. Carol and Laurie prepare monthly newsletters to inform families of the happenings and add friendly reminders. The program follows daily routines, and schedules that helped my children feel safe and secure in knowing what to expect when they arrived at school each day. We always looked at the monthly calendar sent home to see what the themes were each week. My kids loved looking for books or toys related to the theme and on occasion I was convinced to buy clothes to match the theme. My daughter now has a very stylish dinosaur dress. All three of my children were lucky to have Mrs. Christine, and assistant Ms. Dee. She has a great reputation in the community, and she is a passionate teacher that provides a warm and comforting environment. All of my kids LOVED going to school and talk about Mrs. Christine as if she is part of our family.I firmly believe that building an early positive association with learning is essential to our kids' growth. All of my children found a solid beginning at Discovering Me. The graduation ceremony is magnificent. They really do a great job!”

112 W Hartsdale Ave, Hartsdale“I love that this is a house, the class rooms feel like living rooms. They have many playgrounds outside and the kids go out two or three times a day, weather depending. In the summer they play with water outside. My child loves it, our second one will go there, too. It was recommended by my neighbors who bring their second one there. One complaint is that they use disposable plastic ware for food and drinks. Sadly this is normal in this country and is usually difficult to fix due to lack of space, this is why I am understanding for their situation and do not subtract a star ;)”

73 Old Rte 22, Armonk“We have been a Tutor Time family for nearly 8 years, with all three of our sons attending starting as infants. The management team under Andressa has created the best environment I have seen to date. The teachers are great with the kids, the programs engaging and my kids are happy there. I would recommend to anyone considering.”

1133 Westchester Ave, White Plains“We started our son at Children’s Corner on Westchester Ave when he was 6 months old. After considering several child care options, we quickly felt we made the correct choice with how great the infant teachers were. Miss Anastasia and Nancy remained his favorite teachers even as he progressed out of the infant room. Aliya'h and Cookie run the center and are great with communication. We had to relocate our son to a different center due to a move, but we kept him enrolled at a different Children’s Corner location due to the positive experience at Westchester Ave. As good of a total value as you’ll find in the area.”
“The teachers here are wonderful, caring professionals - it is a truly nurturing environment. Good teacher to student ratio with fully certified teachers who clearly understand early childhood. The huge, age appropriate playground with a mud kitchen is a big bonus - the kids typically get 2 hours of outdoor play each day.”
“My children have been at Pat-A-Cake since they were in the infant room at five months old. We have made our way up to the Pre K room and have loved every stop along the way. The facility is clean and filled with fun and education material for the children. My children have made wonderful friends in their classes and have connected with each of their teachers. It is obviously that the staff cares deeply for the children and they go above and beyond to make the environment both fun and education. The socialization, education and nurturing my children have experience here have been priceless. We enjoy seeing smiling parents in the parking lot and happy kids running inside to see their teachers in the morning. I cannot recommend Pat-A-Cake enough!”
“Needed to have a test done here. The place is immaculate. There was no wait time and everyone I dealt with was kind, caring and knowledgeable. Definitely made my experience stress free. They also followed all Covid protocols.”
“I’ve been a teacher at TLE for just over a year. The directors are amazing and offer plenty of support to their staff. I was given the opportunity to complete my CDA as one of the perks offered to employees, which has enabled me to advance my career as a toddler teacher. The bond that I have made with my coworkers is amazing. We all work together to help and support each other. It truly feels like we’re a family. Overall, my experience working here has been fantastic!”
