A small convenient store located just off I-81 in Pulaski at Richland Road. There is a Valero has station with numerous pumps. Inside there is a small selection of snacks and plenty of drinks to choose from. On our visit there was only one working toilet, which was sufficient for the number of customers at the time of our visit. We stoppede here because of the location and need for refueling. The only downside was that there isn't an on-ramp for I-81 South off Richland Road. You'll have to drive around to the next exit. Though the roads are well marked. It wasn't too far out of the way, but if we had held out for that exit at Route 13 we would have had an easier exit/entrance. This little place is off the beaten path, but in a good place when you need it. The service was friendly and we didnt feel rushed.

This place at first Glance is a dump but hey don't judge a book by its cover right wrong. Tried to get my car washer but the change machine was broken. Apperently this happens so much there is a sign that says to try the automated car wash and hit refund this may work. Nope that doesn't work either. So I got change from the gas station upon walking in I had low expectations ATM was out of order and the shelves were pretty bear. Amazingly that did have change for a 5. This mush occur alot because they have a large plastic jar of quarters looses behind the counter. Next off to the car wash. Put my 1.75 in to Start it not a bad price. Unfortunately I found out why the pressure is a joke the labels are missing off the knob so have to go to the other bay to figure out what each setting is. For all I know I put degreaser on my paint. After fighting to get some soap which never came I starter to just use what i assume was rinse just to get the salt and mud off my car. After the initial time I put in an additional quarter to get a minute or so the sign says. Nope that's a lie, a quarter gets you between 10 seconds or 40 seconds and some times nothing. After wasting 5 dollars in what should have equalled a nearly 15 minute car wash but was actually around 7 I returned to the station to register a complaint and ask to speak to some one in regards to this. To only be told we only document the complaints we don't know what happens after that and we don't know who owns the car wash. This place is a joke and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

What a surprising find. On first glance, Sunshine looks like your standard gas station mini-mart. But it advertises something like 24 flavors of soft serve "on tap", and is at least popular enough to warrant an enclosed air-conditioned seating area, so we gave it a try. They do indeed have a fantastic selection of both soft-serve and hard (Perry's) ice creams. The hot-fudge was tasty and toddler approved, and I can recommend the coconut soft-serve with dipped chocolate crunch-coat. Delicious! Can't wait to go back.
