8 or 10 minutes from Grand Gorge where my hotel is, I head towards the store in Prattsville that I spotted on the internet. A nice grandma welcomes me and gives me vague advice, I don't know French wines (it's pretentious), and I think I choose a Californian Chardonnay myself... She offers me a corkscrew which I I haven't, made a mistake 3 times when paying by credit card... it makes us laugh. As I left I told him that I would come back one day.

Doesn't pay their bills. Dodges meetings and calls. Must be on COD based on NY reporting laws.

Prices are off the charts. I paid $100 for bourbon which I later saw at two other nearby liquor stores for $50. I called to speak with owner. I left a detailed message but he never called back. Proves he really has no regard for his customers or community. Now I patronize liquor stores in Stamford and the new one in Windham...Olivia's. Unless you want to pay double stay away from Catskill Mrn Wine & Liquor in Prattsville.

This is our second year coming up here & a couple of times stopped in bc I guess we’re drinking a lot, but I love this place. I was pleasantly surprised it was so well stocked and not at all expensive. We stopped in NYE, Eve and she was so nice offered us a tasting of a delicious bourbon & something else. Of course it was delicious & perfect for our weekend. Will be stopping by before we leave and each time we come out.

I asked if they had a product and they were not carrying. I was rudely told to go to the supermarket to get it. I went to supermarket and I will continue to go there for my needs. I will not be going back here.
