“What a great find. My feline had a tumor on her head, one of the bad kinds.I didn’t think traditional surgery would have been worth it for a variety of reasons, eg., her advanced age, general anaesthesia, recovery limitations). Read about CO2 Lasers for tumours. I couldn’t find anyplace in NYC that did it (but there may be), but I did find Cross River Animal Hospital which is less than an hour from the city. Dr. Mayland and staff are great…very smart and very kind. The Doctor explained everything about the procedure and post-procedure expectations clearly. He was eager to answer my gazillion questions. He was able to use local anaesthesia which made a huge difference…she was happy and without complaints as soon as laser surgery was finished, which wasn’t very long.Pricing was fair and clearly explained. Would recommend highly.”

“We had our 2 very anxious dogs and 3 cats taken care of here. We had a great experience every time. Our dogs stayed here when we went on vacation and even though they were both anxious they enjoyed staying here.
The vets never pushed me to pay for anything that wasn’t medically necessary. They always showed compassion and care. I cannot say the same for any other vet clinics in the area and we tried most of those before coming here!”

“I have been taking my rescues to Progressive Animal Hospital since I moved to Mount Kisco in 2011. I feel very lucky. I had a 16 year old orange tabby who was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease who lived until 23yrs old under their care. Her quality of life was amazing and in good weather she insisted on making it outside every day until she passed. Dr Frishman, his clinical team, and Deena at the front desk are highly competent, very personable, and treat my rescues in a caring, gentle manner. His assessments are thorough and practical, only ordering tests and treatments that need to be done after explaining everything and going over options. When there is an acute physical issue or distress, he and his team move quickly and decisively with interventions for the best possible outcome. In the past five years I've had three furry additions to my rescue family. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that I have such a reliable Veterinarian team at Progressive Animal Hospital to provide for their care.”
“I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Immerblum at Goldens Bridge Veterinary Care Center while I was traveling away from home. “Excellent, caring staff. I switched here after going to Norwalk Veterinary Hospital for years as Broad River is closer to my home and came highly recommended. I lucked out that my favorite Vet from NVH, Dr. Lisa Major, is now at Broad River. Dr. Major's bedside manner is warm and kind and she's a skilled, knowledgable doctor. There's a cat who "works" in the office, and it's clear all of the staff love animals.”

“My previous vet in Cross River put my pet through unnecessary exams and inconvenienced us with irregular hours. Despite their posted schedule, I arrived on three separate occasions only to find the clinic closed and locked. Moreover, they showed disrespect towards my easygoing, elderly father. But since discovering Goldens Bridge Veterinary Care Center (GBVCC), those issues are now history. In stark contrast, Dr. Immerblum and his team at GBVCC prioritize animal well-being and are mindful of costs. They went above and beyond to obtain my dog's records from previous providers and ensured our comfort throughout the transition. During our initial visit, Dr. Immerblum dedicated more than an hour to getting to know my dog and answering my questions. Unlike my previous experience, GBVCC is reliably open during regular business hours, with staff available until midnight and even later for emergencies. The difference is remarkable. Their recommendation from a neighbor was spot-on, and I'm incredibly grateful for it. I can't express enough how wonderful they've been.”

“Incredible practice with alternative modalities. Dr. Seo is one of the most amazing veterinary doctor's I have ever encountered. The love he has for animals is apparent in his care. My Margo who was 12.5 was diagnosed with lymphoma.. She went through the traditional route of chemo at another practice that left her in the hospital for 5 days. I moved Margo to Smith Ridge and Dr. Seo from a recommendation I received. Through his care Margo we were able to have more time with her and truly enjoy each and every day as a gift. Sadly, it was time to say goodbye and let her rest. It was a day that Dr. Seo is off from working on that day, but he came in to care for Margo and help her transition over the rainbow bridge with me. This is a testament to the love he has for his animal patients. Thank you to Dr. Seo, you are one-of -a kind human. Thank you also to the rest of the team for your empathy and support during one of the most difficult days in my life. I know one day another dog will come into our lives and Smith Ridge will be our new Vet home forever.”

And I can’t say enough good things about Tank’s surgeon, Dr. Palmisano. Dr. Palmisano is an excellent surgeon but he was also very patient with my hundred questions before Tank’s surgery!! If you’re not located near Norwalk, it’s worth the drive to take your dog (or cat) here for this kind of care.”

I want to be honest—when I first saw a bad reviews about Dr. Erika Bernard, I was unsure and almost believed them. But after meeting her, I decided to trust the process, and I’m so glad I did. Yes, the bills can be high, but if you want the best care for your pet, it’s worth it. Having peace of mind with a good vet, especially during your puppy’s first year, is priceless.
Dr. Bernard got us through some tough gastrointestinal issues and my puppy’s spay surgery. She was responsive the whole time and still is. She answers emails, checks in, and makes sure everything is going smoothly. That kind of attention and care is rare, and it’s important to me.
I want to put this out there for anyone who hasn’t met her yet. Don’t let a few bad reviews stop you—meet with her yourself like I did, and you’ll see. She truly cares about the animals and does everything to give them the best care.”
