I constantly get other people's mail and end up delivering it myself (sometimes not even the right street).
They also like to wedge packages in the mailbox so tight that it won't close and is hard to remove.
Today I received a package that was too large for the mailbox so they left it by the door, which was great. Except that they decided to stack all my mail with it... in the rain. So while the cardboard was able to withstand the deluge mostly, all my mail was destroyed.
Edit: got a new mail carrier in the last year or two and the amount of misdelivered mail has dropped significantly, packages are still wedged into the mailbox or left on the ground under it. Added a star to my review

Odd, rude staff. You go in to buy stamps, and they treat you like you're asking them something strange and unusual. And then they deal with the request in the slowest, rudest way possible.

Pound Ridge Post office just throws packages in the front yard instead of in the special deliver box at the entrance of the property, our dogs have damage numerous deliveries, please deliver packages in the box from now on

Overnighted parcel to Pound Ridge. Post Office stated recieved at 116pm delivered at 118pm. Delivery time impossible residence is 12 miles from post office. out right lie.

They write delivered on the tracking but don’t deliver the packages and never answer the phone when called. Terrible!!

I was expecting both a small and large package today and just so happened to be outside when the mailman pulled up. The small package got delivered since it fit in the mailbox but he drove away without leaving the other package. I then got an email saying they “missed” me. More like too lazy to go up the driveway. Now I have to go out of my way to pick it up. Terrible service.

The staff are great and my mail gets to me on time. Problem is with packages. I get very few, and I'm home waiting for them. If they are small enough to fit in my mailbox I get them. If they are too big for a mailbox I NEVER get them. Got a notice they "attempted" to deliver my package at 4:38PM today. I was home all day and no one tried to deliver anything. They didn't even leave a pink slip in my mailbox. Got 2 large FEDEX boxes yesterday delivered right to my garage door. But USPS can't be bothered to drive up my driveway. I had a note on garage door telling USPS it was fine to leave package at garage. No USPS truck came into my driveway today.

Not sure why they have a phone since they refuse to answer it. I've been calling for hours and the line just rings until it disconnects. I'm calling to inquire about a delayed medication delivery.

This is the worst post office ever. Year after year they leave the pink slips in my mailbox that they" missed" me. In reality they do not even bother getting on my long driveway. I have multiple deliveries, FEDEX and UPS deliver without any problems. USPS decides that they do not need to deliver to my door even though they are paid for doing this. The mailman is arrogant and irresponsible, numerous times my letters were lost, and I get the mail addressed to other people in the vicinity. Absolutely awfull service covered by our taxes!
