This is a difficult review to write because I don’t believe in railroading people. But I do want to share my experience with this store. My wife and I decided to switch cell carriers and get fios. Our current providers had poor service and streaming cost much less than cable. So we went to this location in the galleria. Our rep was personable and it appeared he knew both sides of the Verizon business. 3 phone lines switched over with 2 new phones and set up for fios. Easy right? It took 3 hours and we had to go back to him for an additional 2 hours to fix mistakes. Called and wanted to verify all contracts and discounts were applied and no response back. Called Verizon and fios direct via customer service. Accounts were set up wrong and we would have been charged an additional $300 on our next wireless bill and fios would have been an additional $25 a month. That was 2 plus hours of phone time per division. Contacted our sales rep and never got a response back until I said I was gonna contact his manager and leave this review. Then he tried. Called the store manager and left a message explaining the situation and no response. Horrible business practice. If your going to switch do it with a real verizon rep on the phone via customer service. Hands down 1000% more than you will ever receive from a commission based employee.

We swung by on a whim to take a look at some options, with no real purchases or upgrades in mind. We were greeted right away by Kyle. We started by explaining that one of us wanted to reduce the lines on our wireless account - and he proceeded to spend the next 2 hours helping us troubleshoot with Verizon corporate to get us the best possible discounts for the account.Kyle never pressured us to purchase or upgrade anything, but presented us a lot of great options and broke down the price and service differences for us. We ended up upgrading one line because of the deal he found for it. He also helped check and link our Fios account to get us even more discounts.We felt like Kyle was very upfront and honest with us. He really went to bat for us when dealing with corporate. Based on the service we received, we are definitely planning to come back when we're ready to get new devices.

I was recently shopping in the Poughkeepsie galleria when I inadvertently left my phone on the counter of one of the stores in the mall. After going back to the store and them telling me that it was not there I went upstairs to the Verizon store and spoke with Jordan Frazier add another young gentleman, whose name I can’t recall. Jordan couldn’t have been more helpful. After exhausting several possibilities he suggested I go back to the store where I thought I left it and he would ping it until I got back upstairs. Bottom line, the phone was in the store where I had left it even though the cashier told me that no one had turned it in. I have used this store in the past upgrade my phone and I can’t speak more highly of the staff. I will be back in June to do another upgrade and Jordan will be my go to man.

I never take time out of my day to leave negative reviews but I'm completely appalled by the lack of customer service this store and cellular sales as a whole lacks.I was quoted a new monthly price in store for upgrading my phones and promised my bill would lower. Then only to find out I was lied to and my bill more than doubled.The reps all seem to have no time to help and tell me I'm trying to "swindle" them when I was the one lied to by their employee in the first place.Go anywhere else to deal with Verizon but cellular sales.I was even told by Verizon themselves that cellular sales makes them look bad all the time.Unwilling to undo their mistake and instead try to blame me.Buyer beware,sad to say.

My old Samsung Galaxy S10e was on its way out. Worked with a very nice young man to purchase new Samsung Galaxy S22. He was very thorough, patient, and not pushy. Even though the visit took a lot longer than expected, which was because I had over 1,000 photos to transfer in addition to many apps, he never lost his patience and never made me feel like I was taking too much of his time. His name was Michael Latempa.

Candace helped us today (7-3-22) at the Poughkeepsie Galleria Verizon Store. We had 3 new IPhone13s that we didn’t set up properly and clearly needed help. My husband and I felt so fortunate to have been helped by Candace who was knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. This was the best experience we’ve ever had at a Verizon Store and it will now be the store we go to with any cell phone needs Thank you Candace!

Kyle is an asset to this company. he took his time to explain the changes I would have in my bill. He suggested things that I should purchase for my new phone. He also recommended some apps to download for the safety of my phone. He took his time with me which I appreciated. I never felt rushed. He is very good at his job and you can tell he enjoys doing what he does. Very professional but yet makes you feel like you're Special

The Verizon Cellular Store in Poughkeepsie has good service. I sometimes stop here if I have questions re: my Android phone and they do whatever they can to help me.This store sells mobile phones, accessories, etc...

The worse experience. The associate had no clue that an iPhone with a low battery needed to be plugged in to transfer data from one phone to another. It sent the phone into a boot lock and I had to take home and make the transfer, and they still charged me $35 at the store and I paid $35 to Verizon. It was a disaster from start to finish. I will go direct to Verizon next time. These dealers are useless.

Great company to deal with! The representative I interacted with was named Mike and he couldn't have been more professional and knowledgeable. Help me get exactly what I needed without trying to talk me into a bunch of stuff I didn't need. Showed me that I could end up getting a brand new iPhone, wireless charger and screen protector and ended up saving almost $10 a month from my old bill!!Great experience. Highly recommend!

When I walked into Verizon I was only toying with the idea of getting a new phone and what would be an iPad. That’s when Brad walked me through all of my options - trading in, not trading in, starting a new line etc. He walked me through every single possibility and was very patient with me. Even with the IPhone 13 pros so hard to get he searched high and low and managed to find one. He set up my account, my new phone and old phone and I was out the door and no time! I am so happy that Brad was there to help me decide on a new phone, he was professional, knowledgeable, helpful and so nice and patient. You won’t regret going to this Verizon!

Andre was fantastic! He was very nice and patient he was not trying to rush through anything even though it was his time to leave. He was kind and I enjoyed having a conversation with him while he transferred my pictures and contacts and all of that. Very accommodating and very helpful if your new to the iPhone. Thank you all for your help. Would definitely comeback!

For the record I’m being nice giving this awful place one star. This place has disgraceful service and the communication is BAD! The workers are also unreliable when you place an order on phones! The guy that worked here ordered phones for us and then didn’t show for days and we have yet to get our new phones(and he said the phones would be here Friday it’s Tuesday)!
