Really poor service today with 15 -20 persons waiting in line with only 1 window open to assist customers at the Poughkeepsie main postal office.
There is no stamp machines or any managers or staff to assist elderly waiting for over 25mins.

The Poughkeepsie and Beacon Post Offices are consistently excellent! Great customer service and plenty of postal accessories to choose from. Short wait times.

Same issue someone stole my mail and has been stealing mail in the neighborhood, my package was scanned out of GPS range and was marked delivered in lockbox my building is none. Until they catch the thief 1 star , thankfully amazon has honored my packages stolen with refunds or a new item sent out but the packages stole by usps thief I've yet to be refunded, I'm sure it must be someone with usps cuz the packages are never big or heavy and around the mail carrier time, I don't know for sure it could be someone maybe following as well but definitely make sure your delivery is insured or held at the post office. It's not necessarily their fault. And I've never really had any customer service issues with them. They've all been very nice and friendly with me. However, you know, there's still a thief on the loose and the process to trying to get A. Refund isa pain , And it's like you. You're out of date by the time. It's actually delivered, so it's like. Why is it 15 days from when it's shipped? And not when it arrives and it's did not arrive like so. Basically, your claim is not going to be accepted. And I'm still waiting for mine basically to be refused. So unfortunately, you're gonna be out of money. Just have your package held if you're getting it from a site that ensures it. That's better because the Post Office insurance isn't really good for anything if you can't really file a claim because it's only gonna count for the date was sent and not the date. It was received or arrived

If I could have given no stars, I would have. They are not only constantly out of basic necessities like labels, the staff is very nasty about it. The old man behind the counter clearly hates his job, and takes it out on every poor soul who walks through the door. Worst experience ever!

Yesterday I tried to pick up my package and the lady there is a very rude person, she didn't let me finish talking, she told me only tomorrow, tomorrow what? This office must have staff who are respectful and not bitter I would give her zero stars I am very annoyed by this woman's attitude😡

I wish i can give it 0 stars. Very unprofessional and rude. The clerk didn't even let me finish my sentence and yapped back with a nasty attitude. Who raised these people?! I will make sure to file a complaint.

This email doesn't deserve anything, they lost my package valued at 300, and apart from that they themselves said that they were the ones responsible for the error and that they want me to fix the problem. In the end I lost that package and my money ?, and those who are in the call center, I They speak very badly to people, I do not recommend this email for anything. Terrible service

On Monday November 2023 talked to the person that was driving the truck to inform her that she is causing a health hazard and also danger to the public she was very nasty she drove the truck 9200 256 I told her in a kind voice that she was creating an eye distraction with that a person coming in the parking lot could not see the person coming out with their car and could cause a very dangerous in someone who was collecting the mail from behind a truck couldn't see traffic coming in and get hit by the male woman was very rude and nasty to me and told me she didn't care and that she's being tested and she's being tested now and that she couldn't hear me I told her I'm not being bossy on kind to I'm trying to help you she said she didn't care and kept on putting her mail in her mail what kind of people are you hiring today they're very nasty and they're very rude and they're not very much educated she also told me that her supervisor said it was safe for her to park there these people who are being hired by the United States postal service needs to do background checks to see if they have any mental problems that will put the public at risk.
