This location has been declining for the last 7-8 months. Some of the coolers have not been working since last summer when the AC was also out. I went a week ago to see half empty shelves and one employee in the whole store. It used to be my family’s go to location but i’ll have to go elsewhere now.

The fridges here haven’t been working since summee 2023, best to go to another rite aid. This one is falling apart.

Absolutely the worst and most unfriendly pharmacy employee of all time works here. Claire gives you a nasty attitude at any opportunity. Meds are never ready for pick up. They can’t ever find the prescription your Dr. sends. Always a hassle. Last time we go here. We’ll be driving 5 miles further to a competitor from now on.

Rite aide has changed tremendously, inside is bright and labeled high enough for everyone to see clearly . The staff is friendly and outgoing . But the parking lot today was filled with open Suboxone strips . Not a very good look for the area .

I have literally used this pharmacy for over 20 years and can honestly say I WILL NOT BE BACK. the red headed lady in the pharmacy is SO rude every single time I go in. Lady, if you're that unhappy at work...get another job. It has been her and only her (the others are extremely friendly) that has a ridiculous attitude no matter what you need. My prescriptions used to be ready by the time I got to Rite Aid from the DR's office. lately, that is not the case. HOWEVER, i wouldn't normally have a problem with this but her attitude yesterday has me LIVID. I give her my daughters name and DOB and she states with obvious annoyance "well we aren't even close to processing that yet so we might not have it in stock" ok cool i ask her how long about until she would know. NOT HOW LONG UNTIL IT WAS READY but how long until she knew if it was in stock. SHE TELLS ME "AT LEAST AN HOUR" i am so sick of her and her attitude she is the 1 and only reason I am taking my prescriptions elsewhere. THE WORST!

I have been coming here for many years because its the nearest to my house. That usually has been very nice and helpful. The place is kept clean and neat. I will add that the picture of rite aid shown here is not of this rite aid but the one on Main Street in Poughkeepsie.

COVID-19 Walk-in Boosters treated like Good Friday sale. Only first 10 to arrive will receive one. I arrived at 2:15 (between 2 -3) to be told "Sorry we only give out 10 booster shots for walk-in. Please try again tomorrow, and you should show up before 2 PM."

Vassar road pharmacy staff was super rude on the phone when I had called about a question on how I would receive test results after getting taking the test through rite aid ?

All good for the most part. Most of the staff is fine. No complaints. But this one girl that’s been there about a year or more really can dampens a trip..She’s ALWAYS in a bad mood. Always so sullen. Never ever smiles. I try to make conversation or say a quick thing to make her day or even start a smile and she just stares. I work retail too so understand fully how it can kill your soul.. but for godsake don’t constantly act like your angry at the world and ruin every single customers experience.I just called and got the worst attitude from her. Didn’t say hello or ask how I was. No greeting. Didn’t even say goodbye or have a goodnight. I was kind through the call and said “thank you so much for looking, hope you have a good rest of your night”... slammed the phone down and hung up.Seriously. If you hate the job so much, leave.. don’t express your negativity onto others.

KUDOS and thanks to my local Rite Aid pharmacy at 40 Vassar Road for preparing a curbside pickup while I was in self-quarantine during the COVID19 pandemic. The pharmacist organized my prescriptions and a short list of necessities, the store Manager, Kristin took my payment by phone and provided my daughter with "curbside" pickup so she wouldn't need to enter the store or leave the car. Many of the advertised "flyer sale" items were not in stock due to supply-chain challenges, but Kristin provided substitutions where available. Thank you. TIP: if you are suspected "COVID19 POSITIVE", deliveries may be available twice per week.
