I had a pair of UGGs cleaned with them and they were tore up I thought they were lost cause I took them to red cap cleaners and they way exceeded my expectations they even re fluffed the insides I couldn’t have been happier with the service I received their the woman behind the counter couldn’t have been any nicer I will definitely be going there in the future

Had alterations done at their other main street location and they were great, didn't even charge that much. Had alterations done for a dress im wearing in a wedding today and what a disappointment. The dress was NEVER HEMMED, the alterations to the top were something a 12 year old could have done with a needle and thread at home. The excess material was never cut away... just blobs of pinched fabric everywhere. I have to wear this dress in 5 hours. Im wondering what I paid for, and who thought they could advertise alterations when there is obviously no one on site who knows what the word "alteration" means. Disappointing does not even begin to describe this situation. To add insult to injury, the straps won't even stay up. Awesome.

I had the most amazing experience with Red Cap. Several weeks ago Pierette literally saved me in a crunch, the day before my wedding removing a stain, steaming and adding a bustle to my couture bridal gown made of the most delicate duchess satin (she also pressed my now husband's suit). I work in the fashion industry and Pierette was extremely impressive and got it done in no time so we were able to pick up the garments same day. I cannot thank her enough as she helped make my wedding day so special considering I was in extreme panic.

I usually bring my down comforter here once a year to get cleaned and they are reasonable and pretty fast. would be nice if they updated their computer system with online receipts and reminders to pickup your stuff but otherwise its great.

I recently went to the Red Cap Cleaners in Poughkeepsie and Hyde Park with a problem with table linens. They were immediately responsive to my concerns and need to have the table linens ready for a reception. When I spoke with Pierette from Poughkeepsie, she discussed the problem at length, informed me about how the problem came to be, and how she could help resolve the problem. Walked in at 2:00pm on a Tuesday afternoon to have Brand New Blue Jeans shortened and was told the tailor isn't in today and won't be in until 10;00am tomorrow. I asked how much it was to shorten pants and was asked Slacks or Jeans I said Jeans. I was told $18 to shorten. As I left I thought wow that's the price I paid for the jeans I'm glad I didn't get it and was way over charged.

I have used several dry cleaners over my 30 year career in the restaurant business. By far Red Cap dry cleaners is superior in so many ways. First they are a master dry cleaner which means they have the ultimate level of procedures and results. I can’t tell you how many times they were able to get stains out of shirts from food that I would’ve had to throw away if I did them myself. The staff of Denise, Emmaline, PiERRETTE, Tina and John are incredible. I have been doing business with them multiple times a week for over five years and they always, always exceed my expectations. When I walk in Denise automatically knows what my order is and has it ready. It is truly one of the absolute very best family run business is in the Hudson Valley. They are extremely consistent and extremely fair with their pricing of their service. My dry cleaning is always ready on time or early and they keep me looking incredibly sharp and professional.
