It is one of the few places in Poughkeepsie where you can find West Indian/ethnic food products. I'm not sure about their fish and meat market, but I trust the non-perishables.

I liked their variety of fresh produce. I found some hard to find produce items there including kabocha pumpkin that was even sold in half so you didn't need to buy the whole thing. The place has a lot of Mexican groceries for sale. The prices are not bad. I wish I had gotten a better bag for my products I bought however. It was just a plastic produce bag.

I love this place for its fresh produce. Just be careful when buying frozen meats because I ended up with a lot of bones than I did meat when I purchased some goat meat. I was a bit disappointed by that. Other than that, I love this place as it is stocked with fresh veggies, fruits, etc.

Without another grocery store near by short of driving all the way to Fishkill to Walmart, Market Fresh is definitely a staple of the community, but with the price of Food and everything else going up, we're appealing to Market Fresh with kindness to give back to the community that's allowing it to grow and sustain yourself and not just be a vulture and Take Take...The jobs that you provide to our young community members are priceless, but too many people in our community continue to go to bed Hungry at night and now with the dramatic rise in Poughkeepsie homeless population, we're challenging and business and private sector to find away to do moreThank you for the great service that you provide

It's fun to walk through this place, and some of the food here is good, but when I go to eat the fruit from here, half of it is Moldy. I don't even leave it out of the fridge, and it's still moldy. The worst part is I never notice it until I'm already home. It's usually the strawberries. Not all of the stuff from here is completely bad, though.

If you are looking for any type of ethnic food this is definitely the place to go it is very clean staff is helpful. Definitely check out their hard rolls they are delicious.
