The stores were closing down, and we had parked the car at the beginning of the mall, when started to rain and we were at Macy's at the other end of the mall, when we tried to get back inside the mall to walk through a Macy's worker said that we had to exit through the parking door because the mall was closed, when we could see people still walking inside the mall. We had to walk outside from one end of the mall to the other end under the rain, which this was very inconsiderate. I think Macy's should train their worker better to be more courteous and helpful, using common sense.

I enjoyed this Chinese Red Bull from Hudson Valley Exotics, which doesn't seem to have a Google Maps location in this mall. I think it is less tart than the U.S. variety.

Loved the old navy at this mall. They had great deals for kids clothes. It is unfortunate that the store called Children's place was not there. It's is my number one store for kids clothes

Stopped off here on a trip to walk (I love malls because they are usually flat-which is good for wheels or unsteady walkers-climate controlled, and free of loose dogs).This place did a very robust pet store (lots of barking), but the mall is impressively NOT dying, which I appreciate!Lots of eateries, a target on one end, plenty of clothing stores, etc.Very fun local, AND a Gloria Jeans. I haven’t seen one of those in years!!!

Very nice clean shopping mall. Lots of activity with not many vacant storefronts. Glad to partake of the in-person shopping experience. There's something for everyone.

I want to write a brand new, updated review. At the times when I am in the Mall it is sad to be there in many ways. There are stores that used to be there such as CBX, Waldenbooks, Kirklands, Sears, Penneys, etc. That are no longer there. There are not enough stores selling movies, video games, books etc. because Best Buy (The company), and Target have decided to barely to not really have movies anymore. More people are buying physical media again too so The Mall needs to return to a hot spot for physical media, and other kinds of shopping. Also I would not be suprised if right now in May it feels like it is 90 degrees in there. They have an issue with the heat where they have it on too warm when it's not nesscary. I do like how Fye is back in The Mall even though no Fye store is the way it was. I do enjoy New York Deli as well. The Mall seems to be focusing more on arcades and other entertainment a little much more then nice stores to go to, it definitely should be even. This Mall has to go back to the way it was so it's geared for all ages again, not just teenagers which I tend to see there a lot in the past. I am in my late 20s I am not a teenager so more people of all ages should be able to go again to The Poughkeepsie Galleria and really enjoy it.

While the Poughkeepsie Galleria has a nice variety of stores to choose from, it lacks the personality from years past. If you’re solely looking for that “mall shopping experience,” I would save the drive and go elsewhere.It seems the mall is more geared to the entertainment amenities, like the cinema. And while it is nice having a decent food court and stand alone stores in house, like Target and DSW, nothing was overtly special.Malls might be a dying breed, but overall The Poughkeepsie Galleria just seems like a ginormous lot with a lot of missed opportunities to flourish.
