Went on a Saturday (June 22) to the Poughkeepsie location store was ehhhh as far as business but what really felt uncomfortable were the 2 employees standing guard next to the entrance doors staring at everyone like the were only interested in shoplifters and definitely not friendliness or customer service. The restrooms were barricaded off and not useable to the public, with large white dividers that said do not enter, as well, so there again, no customer service. In this day and age of retail apocalypse I’d be way more customer friendly. I’ll never return. Way better options online as well as brick & mortar.

This place is awesome. It has a little bit of everything and they put together all the designs. For example, a kids bedroom or adults bedroom a kitchen, a laundry room or a bathroom. I loved all the ideas they put together on the wall. They sell the cutest little things that I don’t see in other stores. The people that work there are a little bit iffy and by that I mean, I can tell they’re nasty, but are not allowed to react.. and that’s OK with me because I don’t care. I will still give them five stars because they had everything I wanted for my wedding. The place is really really awesome. I definitely recommend it, just ignore the weird employees! ?

Because Poughkeepsie doesn't have an art store, Hobby Lobby is your best option, certainly more to offer than Michael's. Good prices and quality products that aren't sold elsewhere. Closed on Sunday, which is almost advertised proudly; the christian right-wing political agenda is overtly displayed with books featuring Trump sold at the entrance/check-out lanes.

Found it to be owned by the owners of the last business, I recommended a happy hour, since they have none, but it should since the owners are the same as the prior business, and had many steady clients due to the happy hour, The owners should change the running mentality of the place, make it more friendly and relaxing.
