My 10 year old son recently purchased a used Xbox through GameStop with the money he had saved up however we had a few issues along the way. Decided to go to another store in Poughkeepsie and I no longer have any doubts. Calvin and Allie Were absolutely amazing. They have phenomenal customer service skills, and they helped me every step of the way. I highly recommend this location- Their staff is unbeatable, and I truly appreciate their time, patience, and just overall knowledge with the gaming world. Thank you again.

Went in to pick up a copy of a game that came out a few days ago and they were bewildered as to why I didn't pre order. I was told they are out of stock. Apparently, they only do pre-orders, and they get non pre order stock in “sometimes at random”. for a store that specializes in games it’s unbelievable that not only do they not have stock of regular release games on hand, but they can’t even tell you when new stock will come in. You’re better off buying your games from literately anywhere else.

Just okay. One single cashier working behind the counter. They had typical modern selection of games, full price. Some cool graphic t-shirts. Some cool random action figure; Marvel Legends, World of Nintendo, McFarlane Toys. The worst part is the price for accessories and tech. Gamestop is still asking for over $100 for a mid-level keyboard that can easily be bought and delivered to your front door for $40. This keyboard was released 2-3 years ago, so why do they even try to sell it at former MSRP. Tech gets a lot cheaper in the subsequent years after initial release. Not at Gamestop, evidently. I fear that the chain as a whole will soon go the way of the dinosaurs if not for a drastic and much needed change. The company needs to reinvent itself somehow. It's just not looking good. It's actually probably too late, doors will be closing for good, and we'll be reminiscing about game -day midnight releases and such.

Yeah, skip this one if possible. They couldn’t care less about you and they don’t do trade ins. Like, what GameStop doesn’t do trade ins..???

Love this store! Had the Lechonk Promo cards when the new Pokémon scarlet and violet was released. Also the customer service was exceptional! Thank you for such a positive experience!

I placed an online pick up order for the Fortnite minty pack for my daughter and the code inside was already used. I should’ve known better then to take the item once I noticed the plastic wrap was not on the case. The store nor customer service are willing to give me a refund. Pathetic.
