If I could give this company zero stars I would. Their APP is super deceitful, I used them for my small business and they have charged over $3000 in bogus “hidden fees” which they claimed I agreed to when I opened the account. Apparently at their discretion they can charge you up to $175 a day in transactional fees.

Citizen's Bank is the absolute worst bank I've ever used. It's not this branch in particular (though my experience here was not great either) but everything with their online banking sucks too. The only reason I have a checking account with them is to get an interest rate reduction on a student loan.
I had to legally change my name and they were the only bank that required that I go to a branch in person to do this. They have very few branches where I live, so this was a big inconvenience. Then when I got there they could barely handle the request. Only 2 tellers working and only one knew how to process the request and it took over an hour.
I was supposed to receive a new debit card with my new name on it and still haven't gotten one 5 months later. Even if I hadn't changed my name, my old debit card expired in August and they didn't send a new one then either. It's now December.
My online banking profile took another several weeks of follow ups to get my name corrected, for some reason this wasn't updated after going into the branch. And don't even bother using their Contact page on their website, they don't respond. The only way I got anything done was reaching out to their Twitter account. I still get mail offers with my old name on it too.
Also linking this account to any other external checking account doesn't work. I've tried linking this account to 3 other banks and none of them go through, it just always has an error of some kind. So I'm not able to transfer money out of this account unless I want to pay Citizen's $3 fee to do so. It would help if I had a debit card!
I would never recommend Citizen's to anyone.
