The doctors are fine but the customer service of the office is terrible. Nobody picks up the phone.

Urgent care- Dr. Stillman is incredibly professional in a manner of yesteryear. He used every tool at his disposal to surely diagnosis my pneumonia. He had an acute knowledge of antibiotic choices. In a world where doctors lives are monitored by the second he honorably answered my every worry before saying job done. God bless the old roman virtues.

I would give zero stars if I could. I was booked for an appointment with a primary care doctor to establish them as my primary. This appointment was booked 6 months ago. I showed up to the appointment to be told by the nurse doing my vitals that the doctor was not accepting patients at this time. I was beyond frustrated and instead of taking this out on the nurse I promptly told her I was leaving as per I was booked for an appointment with a doctor. That wasn't taking patients. I tried to speak to someone in the office when I had camed down, only to be on hold for 30+ minutes without speaking to an actual person. I will not be returning but I would like my copay refunded promptly

Keep an eye out on your invoices - they will have diagnostic testing done in office (without informing you there will be an additional charge) and charge you an office visit copay for a provider you've never met, as a means to get a second copay from you. Even my insurance company said this is a sneaky and shady way to operate. Always ask for labwork to be sent or performed at a preferred laboratory to save yourself the copay!

Fast service, knowledgeable doctor. Appointment time was honored. Easy explanations and a fast report for my doctor.I would go here again or recommend.A lot of parking available, elevators and spacious bathrooms for a wheelchair or scooter.

The doctor was fine. The staff member who called while I was at work to say my appointment needed to be rescheduled, then that it didn't, then got mad that I was panicked on my lunch break when I was no longer able to leave early due to taking it, was awful. The staff member who told me I wouldn't be charged for a covid test we didn't know I would need, when I called to cancel my appointments, after I told her I was switching to an insurance company they didn't accept, was awful. The fact I'm getting sent another bill without being called back about the initial request for payment when I explained I only went to the service because I was informed it wouldn't be charged to me at all despite the switch in insurance, is awful. The fact that they never called me back is awful. And the fact they charge double for a covid test tgan anywhere else that they require you to take prior to any procedure and especially after telling you not to cancel because they wouldn't charge you for it, is awful. I'd never go here again even with insurance they accepted.

Have become a lot worse over the years. Doctors don’t care about patients and it’s impossible to get a staff member on the phone.

I’ve been going to Caremount for over 20 years, including now with the change over to optimum. I’ve had blood work done all my life, and today I had a very irritating and disrespectful experience.
When I expressed my concerns before, any lab services done about not being stuck dosens of times…they didn’t care, and then proceeded to talk down to me. I am not a dead lab rat that is being stuck, I am a living, breathing individual that has pain.
Just a lack of empathy today was troubling as well as surprising. In all my years of experience, even though I’ve had newbie, lab drawers, at least they were considerate and respectful.
If this is how optimum is going to be, I am not going to stay with this medical group, which is very disappointing.

My fiance has been going to this office for a couple years now. Ever since they've changed to optum their service and even staff is horrible. She has been having health issues since December 2022. Admitted multiple times to vassar hospital and always has to fight to get an appointment with her primary care doctor once they discharge her from the hospital. Recently vassar hospital tried a new medication for her and it worked for the seizures she's been having. They said she would have to get a prescription from her primary care doctor and we've been asking for this medicine for over a week and not one person has gotten back to us. This location is beyond over booked and under staffed. I hate to have to bring her to the ER everytime she has an episode but it looks like that's what we will have to do since optum doesn't have the best interest for their patients until we are able to find a primary care doctor somewhere else.

Physical therapy department is a joke. I called 4 times to try to get an appointment only to be sent to voicemail each time. Even after leaving a voicemail, I never got a call back from them. Someone in the main office helped me "escalate to leadership" who ensured me they would call me back. 2 days later I still have not received a call. I finally drive to the office to make an appointment at the physical desk only to find out there aren't any appointments available in my timeframe. Complete waste of my time.
