Doctors are great. However, NO ONE answers the phone. I have waited WELL over an hour EACH on 3 different occasions to get a time sensitive message to my doctor. Such a waste of time and energy on my part.

Literally one star just for the phone directory it is not very clear and it brought me to pediatrics instead of OBGYN now ive been on hold for way too long and its a serious matter so the fact that no one can answer the phone during the day is a problem and this needs to be addressed this new “optum” nonsense just made it worse than it already was

I’ve been following Dr Stacy Madoff for over 20yrs and she delivered all 3 of my children. She’s great, it’s the office that I’m giving 2 stars. It’s impossible to make an appt. They change it on you and the biggest complaint and the reason why I’m leaving is the front desk has unprofessional people answering the phones. When I called For my annual I was Told I haven't had one in yrs and they have no record of the biopsy I had Last year. It’s unfortunate that I’m leaving my Dr but the company is horrible.

My last pregnancy I got 'care' through Caremount (now Optum). I'd strongly recommend a different OBGYN office, especially if you know you'll be high risk. You can't see 1 DR- which makes the communication aspect that much worse. I felt like a parrot repeating myself, despite them having my chart. We were NOT referred to specialists, we had to find our own. We also had to make all of our own birthing plans with no direction other then that we could not deliver at VBH (once again not referred anywhere). All for the HR OB DR to be upset with our decision. We had to make threats over them not ordering specific tests which were routine for what we were going through- only to get them to order some of them. (A different office actually did the rest of them). I was refused to be seen when I had been asked to go to the office to be seen for a medical issue I was having. They called my cells phone while I was in the waiting room and told me to leave. Then called 30 mins later to tell me to go to the hospital (which I was already at because they refused to see me, this added 4 hrs till i actually got medical care). I had filled out countless forms for medical release for other medical specialists, to be told by the medical record department that the front desk had me do all the paperwork wrong. So I had back track months of forms to sort that out. We had ordered images on a CD and told to pick it up on a certain date, only for that date to come and find out they never actually put the order in. After a large argument they finally told us we had to drive from poughkeepsie to fishkill to pick it up. Bedside manner with high risk OB is just disgusting. He only wants to do what he wants to do which is loosely based on his opinion not actual medical facts. I was given medication that I was never told how to use (a different Dr showed me). My last appointment with them I had a higher BP and downward pelvic pain, I was sent home and told to take it easy, I found out days later I was actually in labor. This office & company as a whole is a mess. When you're having complications with pregnancy the very last thing you need is stress. This office supplied stress like it was a taco on Tuesday. Every visit was a hassel. All but 2 Dr's that I seen were just rude or pushy. I always left each visit with little to no answers or just feeling awful about my situation. There also is a big issue with scheduling. There were times that I spent hours at just 1 apt. I started counting down the days till I was done seeing them.I know of a few other families that got the run around just like we did for various medical thing in various departments. I'm not entirely sure why this office is ran the way it is, but it definitely is a cookie cutter office where your just a payment and not a patient.

I recently had a surgical procedure with Dr. Bhangoo at the Oakwood Surgical Suites in Poughkeepsie, NY. Every single person In that office was just so wonderful. I was extremely nervous and emotional and I’m sure a handful to deal with. The nurses, the surgical assistants, the anesthesiologist and of course Dr. Bhangoo were just so wonderful, caring and understanding. This is a rare thing nowadays and I just can’t say enough, or thank everyone enough for the exceptional care given to me.

Never have a mammogram at this facility. I was left severely bruised as the tech clearly doesn’t know what she is doing. It was the most painful mammogram I have ever had. Then they claim to find something and that they have no idea what it is. Set me up for a biopsy. Arrive for the biopsy to learn that not only does the doctor have no idea why a biopsy was set up or recommended because it is s cyst and common. So wait and watch. Go for follow up mammography and the same thing happens, except the cyst shrunk. When I was scared or nervous about it the radiologist attempted to scare me into setting up an unnecessary biopsy again. This place is s joke.

Once again, I'm spending the day on "hold". No point signing up for a call back---because they don't call back. This site also posted the wrong city & state for me. Doesn't seem to be a way to edit the city.state of the reviewer. Suggestion for Optum remains the same-HIRE STAFFING FOR BILLING AND SCHEDULING AND PHONE LINES!!!!

Since my experience in 2016, communication has improved greatly. I have since had positive experiences with several doctors and their staff: Dr. Lewis in Radiology, Dr. Saychek in Ob/Gyn, Dr. Guzzardi in Internal Medicine, and Dr. Rojas in Surgery were all blessings to me over the years, and I will always be grateful for the care they provided.

Three nurses advised me wrong about when to have complete bloodwork done so I was confused for three years. Also a complete physical is not simply touching a patient’s ankles without checking ears nose and throat or even reflexes

They don’t care. Needed to speak to a doctor. Cancelled my July appointment. Moved it to November. I asked them if I could switch doctors. One is not available until 2024. The other not taking patients. Had to go to the hospital to see someone. Caremount is really Careless

I went in for my 20 week anatomy scan, was there for SO long they made me get up and walk around saying my daughter was being “stubborn” so I needed to come back for more imaging. Came back abt two weeks later and when I went back into room the doctor came in and said “do you know why your here?” And when I replied “ yes, to do more images” he said “they didn’t tell you what it was for? Your daughter has a fatal heart condition” I was told entire pregnancy before that she was healthy. My daughter lived two days and died in my arms. Doctors deny hiding her condition from me for weeks, they deny not giving me proper pregnancy care and testing. Do not go here if you care about your babies.

My name is Mark. On 8/12/2022 I had total right hip replacement surgery. The doctor who did this surgery is Dr. David Stamer. When I went for my post op Doctor vist and PT sessions, my leg never felt right This Doctor & Physical therapist would tell me I had to heal from the surgery and everything would go back to normal. I would constantly tell them both something did not feel right and the more I told them the more doctor woul dismiss or play down my concern. He took a x-ray & CT scan but would not show me. When I would tell him my leg was in constant pain he would tell me to just take pain medicine. Once I was able to get some movement back in my leg, what i was feeling in my leg was more noticeable that leg was actually shorter than the other. I told this to Dr. Stamer and told its not true without measuring my leg for himself to be sure. His defense was "if it is, its not by much". I told him I have a bad limp and still need to walk with a cane and my PT sessions is very painful. After my 3rd visit & being very annoyed, his suggestion was to do surgery on my left leg to make it even or for me to put lifts in my shoes. I said to him what are trying to shrink me? your not doing any surgery on me & I'm not putting lifts in my shoes I did come to you wearing lifts. Then he wanted to do the surgery over I SAID NEVER!. After much research, because it is very, very difficult to find a Doctor who wouldI even see you never mind do a surgery for a case like this so soon after the first one, but I was able to find a competent doctor who would do the revision surgery very soon. He showed me through x-rays & CT scans all that was wrong with the first surgery, and could not understand how the first Doctor did what he did to be off by a whole inch. After seeing my post operationx-rays for the first time, now I understand why Doctor Stamer did not want show me. A blind person could see his error. When I tell you that a inch matters, it matters!, because it throws your whole body off and its very uncomfortable. Doctor Stamer messed my leg up. He shorted my leg by an inch. I am stand 6"3-1/2 on my left leg and 6"2-1/4 on my right leg. Good Doctor's own thier mistakes and don't try to cover them over. They should not disregard patients complaints or issues just to protect thier reputation or ego especially when the patients point out something they did wrong to their body. I spoke with three people who Doctor Stamer preformed surgery on and all had wished I spoke with them before, they all said they would have told me to run the other way. DO YOUR RESEARCH.

I made a follow up appointment for a Mammography with the CareMount medical group on Rt 9 specifically because of previous issues found, I drove all the way from Ft Meyers Florida stayed in a place for 2 days until my appointment when I want to it I was told I was in the wrong place my appointment was in Fishkill. I told the Receptionist no I was specific when I made my appointment because the prior year I had been to Fishkill and that place did not see the growth but the Poughkeepsie one had found it prior and told me to keep a watchful eye out. The receptionist told me they could not squeeze me in I would have to return 3 days later. After telling her I don't live around here that I am very upset about this and there failure to try to fit me in I would not return on Friday (it's a 1 1/2 hr ride from where I stay in NY) as I was leaving her an another Patient were laughing at my predicament. I tried contacting the CareMount administration but have heard nothing from Dr Hayworth or there quality management woman whom I also contacted via phone having to leave a message. I was there Patient back in the 80th until they misdiagnosed a growth in my adrenal gland and one of there Maternity Drs almost cost my Son,s live when he was born. I gave them another chance but I will not be treated like dirt and laughed at by there staff for there screw ups. Don't use this group if you want quality care, as they do not give it. There good Drs left for reasons and the new once push you to use specialists even if you just need follow up care like MRI instead of letting you get the MRI and if there are changes than you go to the specialists. It's a financial income group now not Patient care. Look for a private Dr who cares.
