I sent an email to corporate and to the owner who commented on this post and neither ever responded to me. Normally I would not care this much, but it is insulting for them to pretend to care about their customers. People should know.
Original comment:
There was a 6 for $33 promotion running for bar soap, bath bombs and shower fizzes. We picked out 5 bar soaps and one bath bomb. Sahara rang us up incorrectly and charged us for 6 bar soaps and one bath bomb. We noticed right away before leaving and went back to the register where Sahara did not apologize or even acknowledge her mistake. Her supervisor took over and started the lengthy process of fixing the mistake that held us up as well as a line of other customers trying to check out. Once we got home we realized the supervisor forgot to put one of the bar soaps we picked out back into the bag. So we effectively STILL got over charged by getting charged for an item we did not receive. This was such an annoying experience that we will not be returning to this location. We went out if our way specifically to shop there today because of the 6 for $33 deal that we did not end up benefitting from due to incompetence surely caused by this location having such a high employee turn over rate

Definitely would give zero stars if possible! Poughkeepsie store should be disgusted with how the manager “Bambi” treats customers. I walked in and no one said a word to me, when I asked to get the scents booster scented she was extremely rude and nasty. This is not the first time she was like this to me. Honestly I don’t need to buy buff city soap. There are a million stores that sell soap, I can take my business elsewhere. Just sucks that she is so rude because I love the product.

Visited this store a month or so back. I am a sucker for a good bar of soap and bought 2. The store is laid out well and the staff was informative and kind, but these bars of soap are not just bad, they are gross. As soon as a bar gets wet it becomes gloopy, sticky, and slimy. A layer of what feels like mucus or sludge covers the bar, which makes it stick to and stain any surface it touches. I spend more time cleaning up after the bar of soap than I do using it. I spent a good chunk of money on these soaps to only have to thow them out after a few uses.

I'm so in love with this place. I am thankful to have found it. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I left with so much more than I had in mind to purchase!

Great scents, staff is helpful and kind. My kids LOVE the bath bombs and they have very sensitive skin and they don’t make them break out. My only complaint is that lately the bath bombs really stain the bath tub afterwards. I also tried out the laundry detergent and wish I could return it because it left bleach like streaks on my laundry.

Celebrated my 26th birthday here with friends and it was so fun! We all made about 9 mini bath bombs of our chosen scent and it was $25 per person which I think is a very reasonable price. The instructor was great and super nice. My friends want to come back to make bath bombs again

Wow! 100% a must see in Poughkeepsie! I got to not only experience their FULL and GORGEOUS store but I got to witness my daughter making such special memories from being a guest at one of the bath bomb parties! AMAZING staff! Seemed so passionate about their products and making sure every kid had a great time! Will be back in very soon. Highly recommend their parties and the unique soaps in the local line!

This may be my favorite place in the universe! They sell soap,bar soap ,bath bombs, laundry soap, hand soap, bath truffles, shower oil, body butter, dog soap, shower Accessories and more! I brought a Fruity Loopy soap bar, Fruit Loopy hand soap, Cherry Almond bath bomb and Fruity Loopy bath bombs! Best place ever to exist!

Bought Narcissist laundry soap and will never use anything else again. All products are plant-based and great for your skin. Great staff and beautiful store.

I like the scents that they have … a lot of really nice colors also, but the soap it’s self really dried me out …It Melted in the soap dish and the colors stain everything… like the fruity pebbles sent my kids love it but I don’t wanna clean up soap after I use it … maybe a different recipe for the soap … it’s kiddie soap lol they love it

My daughter and I love shopping in this store. It is a clean, bright store that smells amazing when you walk in. The staff is so super friendly. They always offer to help and check on you if you need anything. I have bought soaps, bath bombs, foaming hand soap, epsom salt, shower frizz and I also recently purchased the laundry detergent which was incredible, I honestly can't use another detergent now, I am obsessed. My whole family loves the variety of soaps that I bring home. I will be returning soon to stock up again.
