Priced right, vehichles and staff very good ....very easy to talk to a person when needed on the phone...reservation pick up and drop off fast and easy...exceeds enterprise and hertz....ive rented from both for years ....sorry i didnt come across avis sooner.......will never rent elsewhere again THANK YOU AVIS!!

The customer service rep was extremely rude and didn’t acknowledge me after saying hello. He also seemed to be on a personal phone call while handling my personal information, which made me extremely uncomfortable. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Upon returning the car, the treatment was no different and it was the same rep. The car itself was good, but he did not walk around with me prior to taking it off the lot and once I returned it. Will NEVER rent from them again! ?

IF I COULD GIVE -10 STARS I WOULD!!!! They gave us a car that had the engine check light turn on after only driving it for one day!!!! And they have NO phone number to contact this location directly. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS AVIS!!!!

The worker that was there was extremely rude! He took 5 minutes to stop looking his phone and start helping us, he was extremely slow, not helpful at all and he accused my mother in law of using a stolen card, but it was just her single name, and she showed him her ID and other cards. At the end he refused to give back her card. Worse place to rent a car! He said his name is Omar, but I bet its true!

Very disappointing! I use it frequently. It was one of the best Avis locations pre-COVID. Around COVID it shut down for 18 months and reopened under new management. The new management struggles to get anything correct, because they struggle lines are out the doors during busy periods, often don't have vehicles, etc. I've had billing issues several times when I've asked them to correct them they tell they can't do anything to call the 800 number. From my experience the agent behind the desk struggles to handle one issue at a time but continues to try to address multiple. For example, I've presented my credit card to charge and he charges the card on file even though he has the card I want to use in hand.You have much better choices in the local area!

Upon entering the Avis rental business the sale rep appear lifeless and uninteresting. There was no customer service. He does not get up to do a walk around of the car nor do they check the car personally when you return the car. The car was dirty.

The team at this AVIS location has supported me with many rentals now. One clerk stayed late as I walked in to rent a car 3 minutes before closing. Another occasion my rental car had a tire with a rapid leak. They switched my car with no hassle. The only thing I could ask is for late night drop off options.

If i could leave 0 for star i would. The customer representative was very rude from beginning to end. This was my second time there to pickup and drop off my car rentals and the representative is the same nasty rude individual I ever seen. Extra training would not work for him. He needs a high way cleaning job, just him and a broom. Please revisit your hiring process, SKIP employees like him.

My husband and father went to pick up the rental car that we rented for my parents. My husband booked it online, paid with his CC and put it in my fathers name. No issue with doing this online but when they showed up they were told that they couldn’t do that. There was nothing online to indicate that. So my husband asked if my father could book the car now and the guy said it was too close to closing and would not help them. Horrible customer service.

Tried picking up my rental car on the scheduled date of Aug 15th at 8am from the Poughkeepsie NY location but no one showed up to open or service that location. Called Avis reservation but they were not able to give me an explanation as to why they weren't open. Had to cancel my reservation and rented from Hertz.Also, when you call the local or direct number for an Avis office no one picks up. The call always gets routed to the general Avis office.I'm done with Avis.

The serv was amberesing . The guy in the front desk talk to as as alians and in ugly way . Like we are not from earth . The guy in front desk was on full voliom with no respect. Realy sad

While the rental experience was fine. I was quoted one figure and charged another. I have been unsuccessful thus far in getting a refund.
