Came back to Upstate NY after six years in the Marines and used this company for my storage needs for one more assignment overseas. Came back to my unit having a small hole in the roof that did water damage to a kitchen stool and a few boxes.

Came back to Upstate NY after six years in the Marines and used this company for my storage needs for one more assignment overseas. Came back to my unit having a small hole in the roof that did water damage to a kitchen stool and a few boxes.
The owner said I should have had insurance and she wasn't responsible at all, despite repairing the hole the following weekend. They also were angry I didn't drop my key off to the unit to repair it, even though I only have one key and was out for the weekend. Their solution was to call me a belligerent and nasty customer and put the blame on me. I do think my situation is an anomaly, and probably most of their roofs are sound, but are you willing to take that risk?
Long story short, I gave in excess of $700 dollars to this company to keep my items safe while overseas and expected my unit to stay dry. All I really wanted was an apology for their leaky roof and maybe $30 to replace my stool. Wouldn't recommend, and won’t return.

Long story short, all I really wanted was an apology for their leaky roof and maybe $30 to replace my stool. Wouldn't recommend and won't return.

Incredible rates, security, and location for small to large storage. I highly recommend for fellow students from out of state.
