My children have taken classes with Dvora for over 8 years. She is a very inspirational artist and an excellent teacher. Dvora is very generous with her time and she intentionally keeps her classes small so that there is a lot of personal attention. There is such a positive happy energy in the studio every time I’m there... it’s no wonder my children love it there! If you have a child or if you want to get in touch with your creativity, reserve some time to spend at Soulshine... it’s very unique, warm and inspiring.

I have been on 3 retreats organized and hosted by Dvora. Each retreat has been different, with different venues, teachers and attendees. I have enjoyed each retreat so much that I have come back for more! And I’ll be back again! I love the feeling of sisterhood that Dvora fosters. I have made friendships across the globe that will last a lifetime! Do yourself, your heart and soul a favor, and go on one of these art retreats!

I have attended four retreats with Dvora, and have thoroughly enjoyed each of them. We’ve traveled to New York City, Italy, and France, to name a few. Dvora puts together amazing retreats, bringing together people from around the world. Each gathering has been better than the last, and I leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I’ve learned new ways of being creative in my work and in my life. Lasting friendships have been made with ladies that I would never had known otherwise. For me, that is biggest perk.
Dvora is warm and welcoming, and pays special attention to the needs of all participants. Upon arrival, we are presented with a bag of goodies and gifts, as well as art supplies and personal items, making each of us feel special. On the first evening, we introduce ourselves and tell a little bit about why we wanted to attend the retreat. Everybody has a different story to tell about their desire to create and grow. This is when we get acquainted and begin to make connections with one another.
The second day, we begin our morning with circle time and meditation. This allows each of us to relax and get into a more creative frame of mind before we begin making art. And so it begins.
Throughout the retreat, Dvora pays special attention to the needs and desires of the attendees, making sure they feel appreciated and loved. The accommodations never disappoint. The food is always top notch, and the excursions are an added bonus. The beach, the wineries, the shopping, the yoga and camaraderie make for an unforgettable getaway.
The most recent retreat was held in the beautiful town of Gaujac in the south of France at The Rhone Retreat. We were greeted at the train station by the owner of the Villa who worked tirelessly to keep us all fed and happy. Merci beaucoup!
If you have ever wanted to attend an art retreat, and really get into a creative space with other artists, take a look at Dvora’s lineup. She has an amazing group of artists and instructors who share themselves and their creativity. You will leave with a new perspective and new artistic skills, as well as one or two new friends. I have grown, creatively and spiritually with each retreat, and now, I am able to share what I have learned with others. I am so grateful to Dvora for bringing together these amazing trips and for giving us the space to be ourselves and experiment with art in new ways.
My (paint water) cup runneth over. : )

Both my girls take classes at Soulshine. I cannot begin to rave enough about Dvora and this lovely, nurturing studio. I am constantly amazed to see the artwork they create at Soulshine. Both my children look forward to their weekly class and the parties they have attended there. I cherish the amazing projects they have made at Soulshine!!

This art studio is so unique and inspiring. It's welcoming and a wonderful outlet for children and adults to be exposed to many different art mediums. The owner and artist is so kind and generous with her time. An authentic person with clearly a lot of experience working with children. My nieces and nephews look forward to creating projects at Soulshine. We are lucky to have it in our neighborhood!!

I've had my daughters birthday party here twice and loved it SO much that I had my very own birthday party here!!!! I've been on one of her painting retreats and all I can say is that I'm saving my money for the next one!!! Dvora has the biggest heart and if she can make my daughter happy then I'm one happy mama ( BTW my daughter doesn't trust anyone, so this says a lot that she trusts and loves Dvora) THANK YOU DVORA for always treating us like family , we LOVE you!!!

If I could give a zero, I would. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! She is extremely unprofessional, an inexperienced professional and a completely dishonest person. Do not do business with her! Save yourself time, money and stress. I went on a retreat to Provence, France with the "artist" of the studio. This was basically a holiday for her and her friend, that we all paid for. First, she has sub-par communication effort and skill... it took multiple emails, phone calls and Facebook messenges to get an answer for specific retreat questions from the start of the planning of this trip through the pickup and arrives abroad. Her emailed information was inaccurate of the trip details and accommodations, misleading info at best. When confronted abroad about the differences, she was excuse ridden to the nth degree, deflector of the issues at hand and blamed others for them. Secondly, throughout the week long trip, it was obvious she did ZERO planning of meals, lessons and outings. She did not lead, did not keep to the schedule that was made the day of arrivals, did not give what was promised and paid for (like a visit to a winery, Michelin restaurant, 2 chefs cooking on site, queen beds, etc). She did not announce when meals were served or ready rather she sat down and ate when others didn't even know food was being served as well as an hour+ late every day. She was rude and disengaging to guests that weren't her friends or groupies. Her complete irresponsibility and lack of leading experience was horrendous. It is obvious she is an inexperienced professional and "retreat organizer". Lastly, her 20 mins of teaching "intuitive art" was a joke and juvenile. She is not an adult educator as she will tell you, she taught us like we were children, her art is nothing special or unique it is not for adults. I feel she STOLE money from all of us on the "retreat", so she could swim, shop, eat and drink wine on everyone else's dollar as well as her yoga friend. She is extremely unprofessional, an inexperienced professional and a completely dishonest person. Do not do business with her! Save yourself time, money and stress.
