My child loved Port Washington’s Children’s Center. He was there for three years, had much fun and learned a lot. His teacher Bernadette was a standout. The grounds are beautiful and all facets of the school are well run.

I am fortunate to have worked at the Port Washington Children's Center for the past 6 years, as a head teacher and most recently curriculum coordinator. This child focused, community based organization is not content resting on its laurels, quite the opposite. We have not only grown in numbers and in scope, we have also grown and adjusted philosophically as supported by research and best practices. The teachers are tremendous - we had Miss Natalie and Miss Leah in Dolphins. However, the administration leaves a lot to be desired - we unfortunately cannot go into detail, but no longer feel comfortable sending our child to the school.

Great daycare facility for preschool kids. Lots of activities, great staff. And the hours are good for parents that work past 5.
