The ANGLER crew was very welcoming and helpful. Boat was clean, bait and reels were provided. They filet any fish you wish to keep at no additional cost. The boat switched locations at least 3 times so you’re not stuck at one spot catching nothing. It was a great experience and I would definitely do it again!

It was a pleasure to take my family and some friends on a porgy fishing trip last weekend with the Angler Fleet. First and foremost the boat was clean, in great working condition, and was the perfect size for fishing in LI Sound. There was ample space to maneuver and the vessel has an upper deck where we could take a break from fishing (esp. nice during the summer). The staff was professional, friendly/courteous, and made an effort to make kids feel welcome. The equipment provided (rods etc.) was in good working order and not beaten-up (as is often the case). Most importantly, the crew & captain wanted us to catch fish and moved around to various spots until we all had keepers to take home. A final observation was that this outfit seems to attract a friendly, easy-going clientele. All-in-all, I would highly recommend Angler Fleet.

Our 11 year old recently attended The Angler Fleet run by Captain Kenny. This was our son’s first time fishing so we decided why not send him to fishing camp! Let me tell you that he absolutely loved it! They are organized, structured and very well supervised. My son learned so much about fishing and different fishes from Captain Jason and Joe and absolutely loved going everyday. He even asked us to sign him up next summer. Thank you Captains Kenny & Jason and Joe for giving me son such an amazing experience this week, we will definitely see you next summer!

Spent July 4th with Captain Kenny and the angler staff for July 4th with family and friends.The boat was super clean and well staffed/well lit/well organized. The onboarding process was seamless. Great by staff and a lavish Buffett. Set sail on time and we got beautiful views of the sound /city prior to settling in for front row seats to an awesome fireworks show. Nothing between the ship and the barge where fireworks show was being run from.Between the awesome hospital, staff, boat, views for firework shows and the moonrise this was a home run from beginning to end.

We took the Angler out on Fathers Day with 15 people including lots of kids-we had the best time! We caught tons of fish and didn't have to bring any equipment, which is perfect when doing anything with kiddos. The crew was fantastic-Capt. Ken knows how to host on his boat! Highly recommend any charter trip he offers for groups with families! Growing up in this town, waterfront activities are always the way to spend time with friends and fam!

As a group of > 30 people with mixed ages and experiences, we had a great fishing trip and many memorable experiences with the Angler Fishing Fleet crew. Here are a few highlights: (1) the choice of modified reels made the trip extremely kid- and beginner-friendly; (2) some soft fishing rods made baits sensitive; (3) the size 5 sinker is perfect for kids; (4) a great setting allows bites everywhere around the boat; (5) the crew are nice, professional, and patient for kids and beginners.

Capt. Bob, Dev, and Andrew were very friendly AND Knowledgeable. Learned many little fun facts of the fish we caught (which weren't many). But they were an excellent crew for beginners!Our party members who were forced to come along found fishing more fun than they had originally believed and are planning a second trip with this company. Hopefully, we have better luck!

This was one of the best experiences we had! Booked a private charter for fishing with family and friends. Some seasoned and some first timers. Communication was great with Captain Ken!
The day before trip was not looking great as weather was supposed to be bad, captain Ken contacted me the day before in the early afternoon to discuss options. Spoke to the rest of my family and friends and decided to take the chance and meet in the morning. Captain Ken agreed that if it look bad and dangerous we would still get the option to postpone the trip. Early morning around 8 AM. Weather was still not looking too great rain on and off. However, looking at the weather forecast, it was starting to look better throughout the day so we decided to go for it.
At first, it started off a bit slow as we were searching around for a good location. Captain Ken decided to make the call and we switched locations and the kids started to catch some porgies. As the day went on at some points rain did hit hard but I think this only put some excitement to the trip.
After a bit in this place and kids caught some fish we decided to hunt for bigger fish. Well a picture says a thousand words as you can see captain Ken and his mates did over and over again as we hunted them down. 16 large Blues!!! Everyone had a great experience and we caught more then anyone could have expected.
The crew was extremely helpful and very nice. Helped at the end to filet all the fish that we caught.
This day was a lot of fun for all adults and kids and can’t wait to do this very soon. Would 100% be booking again with Captain Ken! Been on a lot of private caters all over and I would say he is one of the ones up there being the best. Great job angler crew!!!

Did not get the chance to fish Three times booked day or night before and then cancelled??? Morning off or during the night email. Mean while we get ready to go just to be let down. One time I understand but three times in a row. Best thing to do I guess is too call right before middle summer and can't fill a boat???

We enjoyed our first trip with the Angler Fleet. The deckhands were hands on and helpful; especially patient with our 6 year old. It was convenient to get to and just the right amount of time out for a family. Bring your own snacks and drinks as they aren't available aboard. Don't forget to tip your deckhands.

Took a private charter with captain Pete and captain Stan today. They were great. Worked with the kids to get them comfortable. Made sure everyone was safe and did all they could to make the trip enjoyable.We highly recommend and can’t wait to go out again.
