Take your money somewhere else!!! The women who work there are criminals. They dont post your direct deposit on time. If you set up money to be taken out on a certain date, they will overdraft you first. Then you will see your direct deposit. Always rude!!! No use calling the 1800 number. Will complain to the federal trade commission. I know they do this to other people. Please come foward and make a complaint

I’m not happy at all! Their hours are not for working people. Most days 9-4 and closed on weekends! I called for fraudulent activity in my account. They said I receive my card within couple of days. It’s been more than that. Now, I’m stuck because I don’t have access to my own money to pay groceries or gas for the car! Thinking of moving to more convenient bank!

Worst bank ever! Had money in the bank and then paid everything. Then few weeks later they say I was negative! Called them the teller was very nasty. Then went to bed woke up $300 negative more. Save yourself the headache go SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Horrible customer service, the worst bank. Staff is not helpful at all. I ordered a new debit card over three weeks ago and still have not received a new one and when I went into the branch they could not help and just told me to call corporate because my card probably got lost in the mail. So, after being on hold for about 20 minutes I finally got a hold of corporate and they couldn't help me either, in fact they wanted to charge me $25 more to order a new debit card. I am switching banks tomorrow!

I received an email that my M&T bank account went to negative $52 at 10pm therefore I felt that if I arrived to my bank's ATM before 8:59am that I would not be banged with $38 insufficient funds fee. I felt this would negate the fee since that time frame would be before the "next business day." However, "Nicole" at M&T Port Jervis (along with customer service) stated that the account would have had to be brought to zero by 11:59pm. How is the "next business day" at midnight when the bank does not open until 9am the next day?! This does not conjure up common sense and furthermore if I read my account on-line as negative $52 with a notation that stated, "Please bring your account positive by 11:59pm in order to escape $38 insufficient funds" you bet your bippy I would have gotten in my car before bedtime. Instead I stopped by the ATM before work to bring the account current and when I got the receipt I had been banged with the $38 fee. When I inquired to the bank supervisor at M&T in Port Jervis, "Nicole" she stated that in the rules and regulations the policies are explained. When I asked if "next business day" was specifically defined as midnight or open of next business day at the bank, she informed me that I was no longer welcome at M&T bank and that I should close my account! I informed her that I felt that this was unprofessional and that this query was a matter of my own interest and that of the public.
