Excellent service! Very helpful and alternations were great as well. My daughter fell in love with a dress color that she wasn’t even thinking about but once she tried the dress on that was pulled and just suggested she knew it was the one. Will definetly go back for other occasions!

I had the best experience finding a dress for my son’s wedding at Sue La La Couture. The owner Sue knows her stock and what dresses looks best on your body type. She showed me many different dresses, but was never pushy. I found a beautiful dress that had sleeves that I wanted removed. Her seamstress did amazing work removing them and also hemmed the dress. This shop is a hidden gem in Port Jeff. 5 stars hands down!!

I very rarely leave reviews, however, I am very excited to share my wonderful experience at Sue La La Couture
I had an amazing experience with this shop! Sue’s professionalism and knowledge is unmatched. The customer service was outstanding, and the gown selection exceeded my expectations. I went in with a photo of the gown I loved and Sue ordered it after measuring me and discussing the best color to choose. I needed the gown for. Black tie event sooner than later and Sue kept in touch with me regarding the shipping process and alerted me the moment the gown came in. The day before I picked up my gown I learned the dress code of the event had changed. The long gown was now going to be out of place. Sue suggested some alterations and her seamstress (mom) did an amazing job in making the black tie gown a gorgeous cocktail dress! I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a great buying experience.

This store is seriously a hidden gem, every dress is a masterpiece, unique but trendy dresses! Me and my bestfriend went here for our senior prom dresses and the quality? Top-notch! The owner was helping us and seriously couldn’t have asked for anything more, 10/10 experience for both of us.

They made my daughter feel like a princess for her Sweet 16 shopping. The experience was like shopping for a wedding dress with personal attention and using clips to fit the dress properly. You can really tell they love what they do and the experience was wonderful! Highly recommend this dress boutique!!!

After starting to lose hope that my daughter would find her dream prom dress, we decided to check out Sue La La Couture. The moment we walked in we were greeted and given a little run down of the gown inventory. My daughter knew she wanted a royal blue. Sue immediately grabbed a dress that she thought would flatter my daughter and checked all the boxes. Well, it was the most beautiful gown we had both seen! It was the only dress of its kind on Long Island, which made my daughter thrilled! We bought the dress and the seamstress meticulously hemmed and made the dress fit like perfection.We will absolutely be going back next year for my youngest daughter's prom dress.

I don’t really post reviews but Sue by far deserves this and more. If I could give 10 stars I would. I was in a very tough position due to purchasing my daughter’s dress at another location but they never delivered the dress. I had 9 days to find my daughter another dress including alterations. I was nervous, stressing, upset, sad, and many other things. However, in 9 days my daughter had a dress including alterations!! I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else! I can’t say enough positive things about this store and the seamstress!! The seamstress only had 7 days to do the most complicated alterations based on my daughter’s dress. She knew she was under pressure but not once made us feel uncomfortable. Truly just an amazing experience. I wish I had gone here first, but I will definitely be going back for any other occasion I ever have.

What a pleasure… we were shopping for a prom gown there was such a large selection to choose from and we were not rushed at all even without an appointment, they were so attentive & helpful.The size had to be ordered and came in within a week. The alterations were done quickly and were fairly priced.Needless to say Sue La La will be our go to for all our formal dress needs!

Highly recommend going to Sue La La Couture, in Port Jefferson, to get a prom dress! My wife took my younger sister there today and we were greeted by the owner Sue who was very kind, patient, and attentive while we looked through her collection. The dresses she picked for my sister were better than what we were looking at on the racks. Plenty of choices within a teenagers budget and the place was beautiful and clean!
