Well stocked paint store, quality paint and supplies. Not being a professional painter I got a lot of help from James that gave me great results on my project. my go to location for all painting supplies.

I have been going to Aboff paint stores for over 30 years. Last week I stopped in the Port Jefferson store for assistance in getting paint samples matched. These are some of THE RUDEST individuals I have ever dealt with. I would NEVER step foot in there store again! (First red flag, the two times I stopped in there were no other customers in the store) Unwilling to help me, threw papers at me, and was not willing to offer a solution. Went back the very next day hoping to get help from a different EE however I was met with the same opposition. Mind you, I walked in with a smile both times asking them if they could help me yet neither employee offered any assistance and was extremely rude. I immediately went to the North Babylon location (the store had lots of customers) where I was greeted by the employees with a big smile and they assisted me from soup to nuts with kindness and patience. I walked out of North Babylon feeling like a valued customer-Five stars! The Port Jeff store would get zero stars from me if I was able to do so. Never again.

Totally wrong color match and bad service, worthy of zero stars. The person behind the counter, we had the misfortune to talk to, was extremely unhelpful and unwilling to help us find the right color match, blowing us off with his repetitive and blunt answer 'this is what you asked, so this is what you get'. Not suggesting another color or trying to help us match the sample we brought. Every extra effort from his part seemed to be too much. His attitude was bad and slightly hostile even. Not exactly 'client binding'. So we decided to go to the Aboff store in Coram, where we were helped by a most helpful young man, "Christian", who did help us find a good color match. He was knowledgeable, patient and courteous ! If not for him we would have given up on Aboff's paint altogether.

Worst paint store ever!!! Too bad that I can’t rate zero star. They did wrong color match for me and they said They NEVER make mistakes and I don’t have proof. The store manager also threaten me that he’s gonna CALL THE POLICE because I was making up the story! If you try to do a color match, make sure you get the correct one before you leave the store because they NEVER make mistakes!!!
