I honestly don't know why I bank here after 18 years. In the last 6 months every attempt at an atm results in me being frustrated. ATMs are broken all 3 every week. You force everyone into telebanking but your machines are broken, how about going back to regular banking if you can't fix your machines. Finally leaving this bank after 18 Years because of its horrendous services.

Port Jefferson branch is horrible. The teller they have is the slowest person I have ever seen. Went 2 times to cash checks and couldn’t get it done. Fist time left after waiting 30 min with only 3 people in front of me. 2nd time walked in and was told she was going on break and no one to cover her by a manager that I’m sure could have continued serving customers. I’m not sure if I’m gonna continue banking with them because I have to travel far to go to another branch which I will say are allGreat.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Bunch of racist, mean, and rude people who assisted us. Stereotyped us and started being “nice” when they looked in our accounts.

I felt very uncomfortable doing my transaction based on the questions I was ask This is not how I want to feel when I bank, I will be speaking to the managerSpoke to the manager who was basically rushing to get off the phone , no empathy even though I was clearly upset . I was given an insincere apology . I hung up feeling the same as I did before calling.

Just open your account the other day. Set up online information activated my card etc. called to find out some information, I understand if there’s a hiccup and the new account. Spoke to two separate people, both very nice both putting me on hold, phone initially: automated system said there was a 13 minute hold, Once I got through, representative, put me on hold to take care of the situation, got disconnected, I called back again now and a 18min wait !! if the waiting I spoke with the second rep. I gave him my phone number and said if we get disconnected, make sure someone calls me back he put me on hold to look at the situation got back on the phone and said he was going to transfer me.AGAIN WENT TO AUTO-SYSTEM !!!! This time 14 min hold !!!!TOTAL OR 45 MINS ON HOLD !!!! Ridiculous !!!!! well that relationship didn’t last long, will have to take my business elsewhere. What a shame.

I keep my account frozen due to the poor online security that they have. My account was hacked awhile ago and they justified their poor level of online security that I might have malware on my iPhone. I brought the phone to apple and they said there’s no malware on the phone that the establishment has no idea what they are talking about. My password had been changed and phone numbers were deleted and they refused to accept that they have a compromised security system. This would never happen with TD Bank.

Perfect bank to have your personal or business accounts. Great rates and plans. This location is conveniently located at the corner of the shopping center right next to Shoprite. this bank (credit union) is the WORST - supposed to be for its members but they find tricky ways to get money off of you. Customer service is LACKING! BEWARE!!!

*Update on initial review*The new location is much nicer!This is an OK local branch the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, they constantly seem to have problems with the ATM, whether the drive through or walk in. They need to step up their game if they expect to be competitive with other major banks.

Let me first say this; I have banked with Chase me entire life, so as a first time customer of TFCU I must say that I am extremely pleased with my experience. I came here looking to refinance my auto loan and had the pleasure of working with Chris who managed to handle the process swiftly and efficiently. Being a first time auto loan holder I was clueless regarding the entire process. Even with my lack of preparedness, Chris made the process completely painless, stress-free, and walked me through each step so I clearly understood what was going on. And best of all I walked out with an interest rate that is less than half of what my original loan was! I would recommend anyone looking to refinance their vehicle to look into TFCU and go see Chris if you are going to this branch!

This has to be the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Can’t wait to pay off my card so I can close out all accounts I have open with them. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this bank!!
