I was in need of a new hair stylist. The stylist I had been going to kept getting harder and harder to book an appointment with and when I'd finally get an appointment I would get stuck at the salon for 3-4 hours. I was miserable. And to be honest, I wasn't in love with my cut/color. I just didn't want to go through the hassle of finding a new salon. I'm sure a lot of you can relate. Then one day after admiring the haircut of a very friendly J Crew employee she shared her secret, Nikki Flandina. Nikki is phenomenal. I have been going to her since February. I've gotten my hair cut four times and my hair colored twice. She is knowledgeable, talented, and just a pleasure to be around. She's super sweet! I have long hair. The first time I went to Nikki, I cut off at least five inches and had my hair colored. It took about an hour, in and out. There was no waiting. She was ready for me when I got there and there was no pressure to cut more, which I find to be common when you have long hair. Everyone always wants to chop it off. I was pretty nervous and was prepared to potentially leave crying. I left thrilled. I had found my place. Nikki has cut my hair three more times since and each time I have left equally happy. The level of service has always been the same, top notch. She doesn't rush. When she's with you, she's with you. You can tell she genuinely enjoys her job.
