I needed a new battery for my work van's key fob. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Excellent service. My fob was no longer in sync with the vehicle, but that was an easy 15 second fix that I was able to do myself.

Follow up- as I went into the dealership and spoke with sales manager John and he was extremely helpful- I appreciate someone listening and hearing out my frustrations instead of shutting my down and going in circles.I’ll start by saying Jiovanni at the dealership is excellent if the entire place was king and attentive to his customers like he is there would be no complaints. With that being said, I would never reccomend ford of port jeff. I have been a long time ford customer as well as my family. On august 24th I dropped my car off and was told I needed a new transmission (covered under warranty) and was told it would take 10 days but they had no rental or courtesy vehicles available at the time and I’d have to get one on my own. After speaking to ford directly they told me part of my warranty was a 10 day rental car so I paid out of pocket for that. After the 10 days I called to check in on the status of my vehicle as my rental car was due back for return and they told me they had not gotten a chance to even look at my car yet. I calmly and understandably extended my rental and called back 5 days later to learn they still haven’t worked on my car. Long story short I needed the rental for 30 days and needed to hound the dealership on the status I couldn’t even get a call back from the service manager . I finally picked my car up on September 27th. And was told to speak to the dealership service manager in order to get them to extend the period of my reimbursement when my fiancé and I asked if he was in he was standing right at the desk and said that’s me, and extremely condescendingly told us he’d call us when he finds out what he can do. It is now November 2nd and I have yet to hear from anyone at the dealership. On top of that a week and half after picking my car up I’m having an issue with the splash guard underneath my car that was fine when I dropped it off. So now I am out of my rental reimbursement of over $1,000 bc of the laziness of the dealership and I need to get something that they did wrong fixed elsewhere. My fiancé and I were both looking to purchase a new ford after our wedding and we willNot being doing that

Went to several dealerships looking for a ford explorer. Ford of port jeff had best price. Even though we got there 30 mins before close rick stayed with us and showed us several different ones. Rick never pressured us and that made buying more enjoyable. Sam got us a great rate on our loan. Overall best dealer experience I've ever had. Ask for Rick if you're looking for a car.

I had been a long time customer of Ramp Ford with both the purchase of cars and service....I was always satisfied.I went back this past week under the new ownership team for which it appears that the entire service department was changed.I had asked several questions at the service department about a recall for my fusion, for which I was supposed to recieve a call back (never happened) and about my explorer for which I wished to scheduled maintenance.... you would think the staff was doing a lifetime favor, Anna (Service advisor) was more concerned about collating her paperwork then interact with me and the woman that was to schedule the appointment was yelling over the counter at me asking for the details to do such......The takeaway, it appears very disorganized, kaotic and not necessarily a happy environment....culture change definitely needs to occur if survival is desired. On the positive side the man at the parts counter is leaps and bounds better then what was there previously, he was very helpful, professional and happy....I would hope it was just a bad day... the first one I experienced in 35 years going to the dealership....

Bought a preowned Raptor in July with an extended warranty. I decided to have the truck looked over by my mechanic since it was preowned and he said I needed tires. Brought it back to Ford Port Jefferson Station where I purchased it and they did replace the tires. However, they shouldn't have sold it with bad tires in the first place! About 2 months later the truck bed kept opening while I was driving. Again Had to bring it back in for service. Now October, the engine light kept coming on. Yup, once AGAIN had to bring it back in for service. I was told it was drivable and they will call me when the part comes in and it should be fixed the SAME DAY! I dropped it off last Friday and did not hear from them by 4:30 in the afternoon. I had to call them and was told it's not done and they have to keep it till Monday. If I didn't call them, nobody would have even notified me that I was not going to have a car all weekend. now today they call me to pick up the truck But they are still waiting for one more part to come in. Once it comes in I will AGAIN for the 4th time have to bring it in for them to replace that part. If you are looking for a Ford, I would recommend going to another dealership. Although they are trying to rectify the problems, The truck should have been fully looked over before being sold. In three months, I've had four issues so far.. or at least give your customers a loaner so they aren't inconvenience again and again!

Jenn Chiudina was my sales agent at Port Jeff Ford back on August 22, 2023. She is the best I could hope for when it came to helping purchase (2) F150 Trucks. Everything was ready to sign. I was done with the purchase in less than one hour. Delivery was outstanding. I would give Jenn a higher rating than above if I could. Thank you very much for all your help and concerns.

Extremely disappointed with the sales department - not the first time either.I have also had many unpleasantexperiences with service here - they put the complete wrong air filter and mismatched parts on my GT500.How do you mess up service on a top of the line car?!This time around I made an online inquiry to order a truck. I guess the “appointment coordinator” called me and she sounded dumbfounded.. kept saying “uhhhh” and doesn’t even know what vehicle she is calling about. Just wants me to make an appointment to come in person.Looked through other reviews, saw that one of the buyer beware f150 lightning, that tells me everything I need to know.I will not be giving this place my business anymore and I don’t think you should either.

Had a very disappointing experience at this dealership. Dropped off for service Tuesday night, and was told there were no loaner cars available. They kept the truck until Saturday and did absolutely nothing because they didn't have the proper tooling to do the job. Did not disclose this information to us so we could have the vehicle in the meantime. First they said they were getting warranty approval and then they said they were ordering a part. When we called to find out the status 4 days later and stated once again that we needed a loaner and were inconveniencing family members by using their vehicles to get to work, it was only then that we were told we could pick it up and they would call when the tooling was in. No empathy for customer inconvenience and zero customer service. Will not be back and do not recommend this dealership for service.

I recently purchased a 2023 Ford F-150 XLT & 2023 Ford Edge SEL from them. Very pleasant experience overall. Easy to work with, willing to negotiate and their service team is very knowledgeable and helpful as well.My salesperson was Rick, he is a straight shooter who gets to the point. Very appreciative of his "lets get the job done" attitude.Pros:*Great Salesperson*Finance Manager was also easy to work with*Helpful Service Team*Everyone in the dealership was responsive to my needs and questions*Easy delivery processCons:*They are limited on inventory right now (like many other dealers). This is not a knock on them, just a warning to you that if you like a particular vehicle there, don't sit on it. I selected my truck out of many on a Thursday. When I came back the following Sunday to sign, there were two or three left on the lot!*** It should be noted that any reviews prior to April 2023 are regarding the prior ownership group (Ramp Ford) ***

ON Wednesday my 2014 mustang stopped running and I had no clue why. I had the vehicle towed into the dealer. The next day they called, said they would take a look but they were pretty busy. In about an hour they call back and told me a couple of clamps on the cold air induction were loose, fixed them and charged me only for an hours labor. This is an honest place! They could have hosed me for a lot more than that and I would not have had a clue!

NOT HAPPY, purchased a used truck from them. Things were going a little fast on the purchase. The vehicle was something I wanted because it had some of the options and components/items that I was looking for. The salesman Rick and the finance Sam personal were nice and answered most of my questions and concerns. Went back two days later to pick up the truck, they said it was going to be detailed, I think their detailing was going to the car wash and getting the wash and go. Engine compartment was filthy with dust and grim under the seats were dirty, under the back seats was dirty inside really wasn’t detailed with that nice shine. I asked to have an item repaired that probably would have cost them 50.00 to maybe 75.00 to fix. The sales manager said they will not fix it because it was an add on item to the vehicle, in which was one of the items and reason I was purchasing it. I had to bungee cord the tonneau top down my self. Said to him this was bad customer service and he stated to me I’ll give back your money and turned his back and walked away. He was willing to give up a vehicle sale for a cheap repair. Wow Paul nothing like making a customer happy, great manager skills. Well the company lost a customer and I will never recommend this company/business. Sorry JRP Auto that this had to happen.

I received call few days back from “sales manager Rob.” Initially inquired about a Mustang. Rob called and seemed to be helpful and all at first. Once I told him I would be going into another dealer who had stock, he asked for vin and I didn’t think nothing of it. Once he got the number he hung up on me and called the other dealer asking for a “dealer swap.” To me that’s very shady. I verified with the other dealer. Then I actually called back and spoke to also RJ. He transferred me back to Rob and I got his voicemail twice after being told “yes he is there.” That’s just bad business practice for someone to do that and not even call back.

I had a broken side mirror and needed an oil change. Aside from having an appointment at 830am. I waited all day and showed up the next morning at 9am and still no phone call. Yet car was ready. I also was quoted that the side view mirror was 200 for mirror glass and 800 for housing not including labor 200-300. I am familiar with cars and have all 3 siblings in dealerships. The part I got was 400 and included mirror glass through them. 4 bolts and 15 min later it looks new again. All I was looking for was a fair price. Not tried to be taken advantage and put up snarky comments from service manager about how you can’t tell it’s being held by tape when I turned down work. I’ll leave it there. Never going back to service there!!!

Service department review only.My experience with the new Ford of Port Jeff was mixed at first. Overall at the end I gave them 4* mainly because of customer service. Even before with the previous Ramp Motors they always had exceptional customer service engagement. With that said I would of gave them 5 * if my original complaint was addressed back in January, February. Which was frustrating at first and led me to get a second third party opinion. That third party found out what was really wrong, not what Ford had missed diagnosed. (No hard feelings) I had to bring it back to Ford because it was under warranty. At that time I was planning on giving a review of 3*. But I do have patience and I understand that it's mechanical, things break and supply is limited.Mike in service and the other Mechanics did good by me, kept me informed, looked all over to get the parts needed, since they were on backorder. (Awesome job!)At the end they rebuilt my transmission and as of now I just got my Explorer back yesterday 5/2/23. All is working and it drives NICE!Given today's economy and limited parts, have patience and give them a shot.I highly recommend using Ford of Port Jeff's service department.-Your local Verteran and Active Military memberTony
