DO NOT... I repeat, DO NOT do business with Glassland! Extremely unprofessional and shady. We placed a window and door order for our commercial property. We were told installation would take place in 2-3 weeks, 7 weeks later the windows still weren't in and were holding up that phase of our construction. We had to reach out to them every day to follow up on the order. They NEVER called us to update us and all they could say is "I don't know, it's our supplier, not our fault". Needless to say we had to go with another company for the windows (which were ordered and installed within days!) and now Glassland is holding our entire deposit ($11,000) and our materials and refusing to install the remainder of our order unless we pay the balance ($2,800). We are not paying the balance because our deposit MORE than covers our order by more than $4,000. We were even willing to forgo the refund for the windows that were not installed and call it a wash but they WILL NOT install anything unless we pay for installation (which as the contract states is included in the pricing). Poor business, horrible customer service, terrible human being! DO NOT USE THEM! I was warned and did not listen.

Not great had to recut the glass a couple times they took wrong measurements had to bring it back do it again etc. Then they had me wait a couple days because the glass cutting guy wasn't there. all for a simple plain tempered glass cut.

I wish I had read these reviews before ever dealing with this company and I would have had my lawyers contact them from the beginning. They installed two glass shower doors that don't close and refuse to come to fix. Every time you speak with them you get the runaround and they pretend to not know what is happening. Now I see all the complaints and it seems like legal action is the only path. Bad work, terrible and deceitful service, a huge waste of your time and money. Unacceptable.

Stay away from glassland inc glassland of mount sinai glassland america and Hildreth glass. has many different names. the owner is Christopher Pirato he has no license it was REVOLKED by Suffolk County Consumer Affairs in 2018. he works without a license his work is terrible he gave us shower glass that was all chipped and scratched, measured the shower door wrong the door is too long sweep keeps breaking and door doesn't shut properly, cracked the a BRAND NEW tile on wall when installing hinges ,the silicone leaks and the corner where the 2 pieces of glass meet they over lap should have had a 90 degree angle where they met. they don't return calls they lied about the order time told us 2 weeks it was a month. Never gave us the DFS coating registration card to register the special coating on glass. They are rude if you do get them on the phone. We won a judgement in court he refuses to pay. he has alot of lawsuits against him. I could go on much longer but it's making me sick thinking about it.Service: Glass installation

Installed a job that was not approved; does not answer calls; took deposit and the. charged DEPOSIT AGAIN and full price of job (that did not get signed off on -because it was done wrong) and hit the credit card--- Never had a problem like this with any vendor before. Glass job done completely wrong from quite and has left our home in a volatile situation--run don't walk away, Can We give it NO Stars?

We had them instal a 20' wide panoramic window in our sunroom. They came when they said, at the price they said. Everything fit perfect, could not be happier. Chris really knows what he's doing and came through with an awesome install. Thanks

I don't normally write reviews, but our experience was so bad with our bathroom glass enclosures that I felt compelled. And this aligns with other reviews.Chris came around to spec everything out. It all seems fine and he was very detailed. But when the glass arrived, the measurements were incorrect on one pane. Also, the toilet door was the wiring door. So that glass leant against our bedroom wall for 2 months. We continued to be patient, eventually spoke with Chris again. The supplier had screwed up. But he said he would call us twice a week to update. Nothing. Then a month ago, they turned up. Now with the wrong handles and still without a panel for another shower. But they installed and said they would put the handles on later that week. We have heard nothing. I ordered handles myself and installed them. Gave up on the other panel. This is a $14k job. It looks great now, but being busy is no excuse for horrific customer service. And if your suppliers problem becomes my problem, it's a problem.we all understand supply chain challenges right now. Just communicate. Common courtesy. Then you have a business with positive word of mouth and long term loyalty.

President of the company, Chris Pirato, seemed knowledgeable at the estimate. Sent incompetent workers who 1. One man the first time, apparently someone called in sick, did one window, didn't put the clips on the insert so it fell out of the window when we opened it, said he needed another helper to complete the other windows and left. 2. Two very simple looking men installed one window, glued the insert in, so now we can never take the inserts out to clean the window, said they needed a scaffold and a third man to complete the job and left. 3. Heather made us another appointment (all with my husband taking vacation days to be home), assured me that they had three men and a scaffold and would be here in 1.5 hours. Ten minutes later she called to cancel because someone called in sick. I guess they don't want to work on Fridays. We have given them $600 and only had 2 small windows put in after 4 appointments. Chris will not speak to us; I guess he's living up to his name"Pirate".

Just stay away. Inept installers. Wasted vacation time waiting for installers or hearing a sob story of why they can't complete the job. Cancelled appointment 10 minutes after telephone verification that they are on the way.
