Aussies, brace yourselves for a dollar-ific blast! My Dollar Tree ReviewAs a recent Down Under transplant in the US, I stumbled into Dollar Tree, expecting just that: a tree made of...dollars? Little did I know, I was about to enter a treasure trove of cheap thrills!First things first, let's talk prices. This joint has blown my Aussie head off. Forget those $5 Tim Tams back home – here, you can score a whole bag of candy for a measly $1.25! Laundry supplies, party decorations, random knick-knacks – you name it, it's practically giving itself away. Even the most extravagant splurge at Dollar Tree tops out at $5. It's like living in a Willy Wonka factory made of bargains. The staff? Top blokes and sheilas, mate! Friendly as can be, always ready with a smile and a "how can I help ya?" My only gripe is the lines. Sometimes, it seems like only one or two registers are open, and the queue snakes its way through the aisles like a friendly, bargain-hungry python. But hey, with prices this low, who's counting the minutes? So, verdict? Dollar Tree is a gold mine for budget-conscious Aussies (or anyone, really). Just be prepared for a bit of a line dancing routine at the checkout. But seriously, for a dollar (or five), you can fill your basket with enough goodies to make your inner magpie sing with joy.My rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars (minus 0.5 for the queue-pocalypse). Just remember, don't go in expecting top-notch quality for everything. Some things are definitely "you get what you pay for," but most are surprisingly decent. It's all about the treasure hunt, the thrill of the find, and the joy of knowing you just scored a truckload of stuff for the price of a latte back home. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a date with a $1.25 bag of gummy bears and a plastic tiara fit for a budget queen. See you at Dollar Tree!

This has always been the busiest time of day. Yet they ALWAYS only have one register open with two to three other employees just walking around. The manager comes to help the guy at the register with an issue. Then walks away with over 15 people on line.

The store was good. I am glad that they still have the quarter machines for my grandson. He'll be good if he knows he's getting quarters after we shop.

I do find this store very convenient and friendly for the most part. I just don't like the new kid they have hired. Totally checked out and a bit of an attitude as well. I've worked retail, so I totally understand how horrible it is and do try my best to be nice and make things easy as possible. But this guy is kind of infuriating.I had my own bag and even told him I have my own bag and he waved me off and started putting everything in to a paper bag with out saying anything. I assumed he just didn't care and wasn't going to charge me for it. when I got home, I saw he still charged me for it. It's 5 cents, it's a very small non issue, but part of bigger problem with him. I got him again a few times and have had to basically tell him in a stern tone I have my own bag, while holding it up and he just gave an annoyed sigh last time. I paid for my things and in the few seconds I looked down at my wallet to put my card away and looked up he had just vanished in to thin air. I do have to say every one else, for the most part, is great. I especially love the older lady, she is so kind and sweet.

I go to most Dollar trees all over the island and the people there usually stand there with frowns don't even acknowledge you don't say have a nice day and treat you pretty poorly but Mary the system manager and her work associate Jordan are the most sincere helpful caring wonderful individuals I've ever had the pleasure of being helped by in retail. They go above and beyond out of their way and you can tell genuinely that they really actually care that you have a good day and they want your business and they want you to return. I recommend shopping here any day. Jordan was so nice to me and help me find exactly what I was needing when I thought I couldn't find it and was just the most thoughtful any retail associate could be. I hope Dollar tree corporation takes care of him and gives Mary as well everything that they deserve.

This dollar tree was a mess. Boxes of inventory on the floor in the aisles made it difficult to get the wagon around the store.

Why all the hate for this store?! It's a DOLLAR store! Some of you expect too much. As far as these stores go? This one is excellent. Fairly good selection of items...all $1. (Unlike some "dollar stores" on Long Island that are more expensive than retail prices.) Come early, and beat the rush. There's something you need for everyone.

If all of you have complaint's about this store call Corp. You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes of this store. Corp is the problem not the worker's or managment. Managment are doing everything they can to clean it up but they get no help from the above people that are suppose to help.
