Every time , like clock work , I get the same result, every month , total inconsistency. The pharmacy team are either over worked or confused on how the WC works, I understand that WC can be different, but you would think by now they would know the procedure. Going to find another Pharmacy.

Is a good location, drive thru 24/7 most of the employees very helpful. My only suggestion they should not let people in cars waiting for the refill if is not ready, ask to go around or wait out of the line to be called. I did suggested to the pharmacist and her response was the drive thru is window service not a fast line, ridiculous. So Car lines are long and slow! Still give them 4 stars.

The pharmacy driver through takes up to an hour to get to the window being the third car waiting in line. I never thought it takes that long to pick up a prescription. Poor customer service. Pharmacy probably has really lazy workers.

(This review is for the pharmacy only. The people who work the rest of the store are lovely.)Tired of dealing with the rudeness, delays, and unhelpful pharmacy staff at the Port Jeff Station CVS, I discovered Heritage Chemists Pharmacy nearby in Mount Sinai. Thank goodness, I will never have to deal with the pharmacy here again.

The pharmacist is great and knows a lot of questions\andwers but the wait is an hour on line no matter if i go in or drive thru. They need to reopen a bigger store or more pharmacy drive thru

They lost my prescription twice. The first time, I let it slide. I came back after my doctor sent it in a second time. The pharmacist convinced me to leave without the medication and consult with ny doctor. I stupidly did. My doctor said it was safe, so I went back to cvs. Once again, they don’t have my meds. They lost it again!!!!! I am furious!!!!! SO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They will have you on hold over the phone for a very long time. Plus they’ll text you the meds are ready but when you go there it’s not ready. They ask you to wait 20 mins in your car lol

I had major surgery 7 days ago (total knee replacement) and the hospital gave me a weeks worth of pain medication. my doctor said he would write me a prescription the following week, and that’s what he did. I received a text message from CVS saying they needed to contact my doctor, so I called them and asked why. The woman said I needed a prior authorization, but it was after hours. I explained I was out of my medicine and was in a lot of pain considering the seriousness of the surgery and she told me she understood and after a brief hold came back and said they would allow me to pay out of pocket for the prescription. I didn’t really want to do that because I have insurance, so I called my doctor’s on call service. another dr from the office contacted me and said they would talk to the pharmacy. He called me back within 30 mins and said he talked to the pharmacy and they came to an agreement that he’ll write me a prescription for 6 pills to get me through the night, pay out of pocket, and I can get the prior autho tomorrow. I called the pharmacy and the automated system said my prescription was ready. my mother was going to pick it up for me, but since I’ve been in the house for a week, I put the passenger seat all the way back, my leg up , and brought my walker to give her company (it’s a drive through pharmacy.) we pulled up to the window and the woman said that she can’t give me the prescription because I need a prior autho. I explain to her everything that happened and she said she would talk to the pharmacist. A guy named Conor came to the window and right away said “sorry we can’t fill your prescription without the prior auth.” I began explaining the situation and before I got a few words out he cut me off and said “I’m right here you don’t need to raise your voice to me.” I was in the passenger seat talking across my mother with a stitched up knee, he wouldn’t have heard me if I didn’t speak up. I explain the situation and he cuts me off AGAIN and says “actually I looked it up on the NY registry and you were filling this prescription somewhere else last week!” I said “DO U MEAN THE HOSPITAL that did my surgery 7 days ago? The hospital that wrote me the prescription for a weeks worth of medicine at my discharge, 7 DAYS AGO?” He stuttered a bit and switched gears by saying “it’s illegal to give you the medicine without the prior auth.” I told him I knew that wasn’t true, considering my doctor AND I talked to thAT CVS within the last hour and a half and said they’d be willing to do that for me. He told me that nobody told me or my doctor that. He treated my like a liar and like a drug addict. THIS is my regular pharmacy, I’ve been going to it for more than a decade. This is not my Normal medication, I had EXTREME surgery and I was in excruciating pain without it. 7 days earlier I had my whole knee replaced and this guy treated me like I was a degenerate. It was humiliating and beyond stressful. The pain I was in was coursing through my whole body and I was being told to lower my voice when I wasn’t even yelling. My mother finally said “for christ’s sake, look at his knee!,” which was stitched and swollen right there in the seat. He said “oh now you wanna curse? I’m done with you!” And closed the glass window in our faces! My mother pulled into the parking lot and I called my doctor again. We went back and forth and I had to sit there, in pain, for an hour. I finally decided to go home.my doctor called me back and said they would give me the 6 pills. I have never been treated worse by any store or restaurant I’ve ever been to. I don’t EVER write reviews, but what I went through upset me so much, I had to. I couldn’t imagine someone else having to go through that humiliation. The pharmacist said his name was CONOR and i don’t care what he knows about pharmaceuticals, he should not being around ANY customer. I also wrote a formal complaint to CVS, but I thought the community should know.

Went and purchase the candy bar> my boyfriend thought he gave them a $20 bill. I was the one who grabbed the receipt and the candy bar. It wasn't till we got home that he asked me about the change. He said he was missing $10. He called CVS right away and spoke with Lawrence> he told him to call back in a few minutes. Adam called back and spoke with a female associate. Things got a little heated between them. Lawrence came on the phone. Told Adam that they check the drawers and the drawers were right Adam was adamant he getting gave him a $20 bill and was missing change. Lawrence offer to take the money out of his pocket and give it back to him. My boyfriend Said no but was very upset. Told me it was impossible that he gave him a $10 bill when all he had was two twenties. When he hung up the phone I remind him that we stopped at 7-Eleven and we bought a soda. My boyfriend then realized his mistake that he was wrong not the store. He called Lawrence up to apologize right away. Lawrence was nothing but gracious and very professional. It's because of his attitude he never got upset didn't get snippy with my boyfriend.didn't get upset and even offered to pay back $10 out of his own pocket that's the only reason why I'm letting you know he is definitely a very good employee very good customer service with him.

Completely useless pharmacy. Doctor writes a prescription on 7/18, CVS puts it on hold. CVS did not fill it. When they decide to try to fill it on 8/1 (after I had insurance coverage end 7/31) they tell me to go elsewhere. I stated I would pay out of pocket. They say they don’t allow for that since they were audited by the DEA last year and only can do that if doctor fills out “pages” of paperwork. I tried to explain that it was CVS that put the medication on hold but they simply do not care about the individual here. I should have the medicine I need but the pharmacy is incompetent and most of the pharmacy staff is rude. Nothing but issues here. Avoid at all costs. Not worth the fact that it is 24/7.
