I hate the yellow slip method of retrieving packages and I think the staff does too. As residents of this area, we not only have to come to the post office to get our mail, we have to come during the peculiar hours this office is open to get our packages. They used to use the lockers and seem to have given up. We almost do as much work as the people paid to work there, having to keep track of hours, get ourselves there to pick up any mail, go back if we get the timing wrong. When will the county decide enough people have moved to the area to pay someone to deliver our mail? Note the reviews saying this office is closed went to to the wrong building. This office is right at Broadway and East Main streets and it is open (if underfunctioning).

The people here are great but the hours drive me nuts! Why would any post office be closed every day between 1 and 2:30, prime errand hours?

They do a great job here but i do wish they would open late or close early instead of being closed during prime errand hours (1-2:30) every day.

Very inconvenient for a PO to be closed for 1 1/2 hours during normal business hours. Enough time for lunch and a nap! I’ve had packages there but no yellow slip in my box. Instead, I found out by checking the tracking number. I bring my phone with me to show them it’s there in case there’s a problem. I shouldn’t have to do that.

My husband and I both get our medications through the mail. My husbands medications were put wrapped up in someone else's mail for a month before they finally picked up their mail and discovered it Meanwhile we had to reorder the meds because they "never came" Today I went to see what the problem was with my medications because UPS tracking shows they were delivered to the post office on Jan 9th and they cannot be found I was asked if my husband maybe picked them up and didn't give them to me? Come on!!! !######## BOO

Very inconvenient for a PO to be closed for 1 1/2 hours during normal business hours. It shouldn't close at all! There are enough employees there that lunch breaks can be staggered and the office can remain open.

The employees are great! Very helpful and personable. The hours of operation are a real drag. I work 9-5 and if i have a car, I must pick up mail on my lunch hour which means that is the only business I can do. Or wait until Saturday. Would be nice if it opened later and remained open until 6pm.
