I was given the opportunity to complete my CDA as one of the perks offered to employees, which has enabled me to advance my career as a toddler teacher. The bond that I have made with my coworkers is amazing. We all work together to help and support each other. It truly feels like we’re a family. Overall, my experience working here has been fantastic!”

25 Valley Dr #3, Greenwich“My two kids currently attend LF and I can’t say enough good things about it. I feel good about dropping them off each morning and when my 3 year old daughter comes home she’s excited to tell me all about her day. My 11 month old son is in the infant class and loves his teachers like family, he wiggles with excitement when he seems them each morning. The head of the school Miss Verna is organized, open, communicative, and helpful. One day my infant son was acting like he had an ear infection and I was at work - Miss Verna brought him upstairs to see his pediatrician because she could get him there sooner than I could. The teachers are in constant communication with the parents throughout the day via the app. The teachers at LF are pure gold. They are attentive and loving and the curriculum is fun and engaging. They go above and beyond on the daily. My three year old plays so nicely with other kids and is good at sharing and being empathetic and I think LF had a lot to do with how well she is doing. My husband and I don’t have any family nearby and LF has become our family and our support structure.”
“We love Prospect Academy very much and are so grateful to have the opportunity to have our son attend this school! The amount of attention and responsiveness given to meet the unique needs of every family at PA is completely unparalleled to any other school I have ever come across. The school provides kids with a fully bulingual environment full of daily creative educational experiences that address every aspect of the child's well-being and are planned and executed by knowledgeable and caring professionals. I truly brag about our school to everyone I meet! We spend 15 hours weekly on our commute to Prospect Academy from CT and feel this is totally worth the peace of mind of knowing that our child is in a safe, loving, and educationally stimulating environment every single day!”

200 Old Tarrytown Rd, White Plains“My 3 children just spent their first summer at Mohawk Day Camp and they can’t wait to go back next summer. Sending them there was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions I’ve made as a parent. After my 10-year-old daughter’s challenging school year dealing with bullies, she made so many new friends at camp that she adored and felt comfortable trying new things with (rock wall climbing, the flying squirrel, and the high ropes course just to name a few). Her self-confidence skyrocketed and she can’t wait to add on the 1-week sleep-away option that’s offered by the camp next summer so she can go away with all of her new camp friends. She also loved the ability to build her own weekly schedule by selecting activities that she was the most interested in for her choice and elective periods. It definitely made her feel more independent and “like an adult” as she says, being able to spend more time doing the activities that she loves. My 6-year-old son who had no interest in sports prior to camp found his love for tennis (which we never would have thought of trying on our own) and he was so excited to work towards reaching new swimming levels. He would come home grinning from ear-to-ear each time he received his light-up card showing that he moved up. My son can also be very emotional at times and Amanda was a miracle worker. She found the best ways to help my son regulate how he was feeling and keep the fun going. My 3-year-old daughter began camp with a speech delay and ended camp talking non-stop despite her lapse in services over the summer. She came home singing so many cute songs (she’s still singing the watermelon song on a daily basis), and was so excited to tell me about what she did at camp that it definitely motivated her to try harder to formulate full sentences. And I know that my youngest is very strong-willed and can be very stubborn at times but her counselors were so patient with her all summer long. Not only was I receiving daily pics via the Mohawk App, but Valerin always made sure to communicate how my daughter’s day went which made me feel much more comfortable with her being there for full days at such a young age. Valerin also never gave up when my daughter refused instructional swim and would only participate during recreational (she was so used to just playing in pools prior to camp and definitely put up a fight at first). Valerin had the whole group cheering my daughter on and getting her excited to practice different swimming skills. The day she received her first moving up card, I actually found her hugging it in her sleep after she went to bed which was the cutest thing. She was so proud of herself.
Bottom line, if you want the absolute best summer experience for your child then send them to Mohawk! Between the endless daily activities, the awesome special events, and the phenomenal staff, your kids will have the time of their life! I couldn’t be happier with my decision to send my kids there this summer and they all can't wait to go back.”

They stayed open and followed all the safety protocols, which was such a comfort in a hectic time. Ms. Hope was always so loving and caring with our two boys. They were always happy to come and happy at pick-up time.”

2510 Bedford St, Stamford“My daughter started going to SLS at the beginning of this year, and in matter of a couple of days, she was completely adjusted! She loves being there with the teachers and her friends.. to the point she runs in the minute we enter the facility. SLS is also on top of it when it comes to communicating with parents on everything which helps to stay informed about your child. Overall, we are very happy to have made the switch to SLS.”

1133 Westchester Ave, White Plains“We started our son at Children’s Corner on Westchester Ave when he was 6 months old. After considering several child care options, we quickly felt we made the correct choice with how great the infant teachers were. Miss Anastasia and Nancy remained his favorite teachers even as he progressed out of the infant room. Aliya'h and Cookie run the center and are great with communication. We had to relocate our son to a different center due to a move, but we kept him enrolled at a different Children’s Corner location due to the positive experience at Westchester Ave. As good of a total value as you’ll find in the area.”

The teachers are incredibly caring, the learning opportunities and physical activities are really top notch, and his social development has been amazing to watch. I think they're really helped foster a level of caring and kindness amongst the children.”

It’s been a while since I have seen someone so interested in his job! He’s so patient with little kids, always meets him with a big smile that doesn’t fade. My kid loves the water but I can see those kids who are a little nervous are also making progress. The pools is nice and big. Tuition is reasonable.”

“Ms. Dina & the staff are incredible to work with. You can feel the school slathered with love and respect. They really meet the child where they are at and find the perfect balance for each child they are given. My son struggled at his last PreK. This school has made a WORLD of difference in our home and our son’s ability to regulate and learn with love and care. Highest respect!”
“The Baby Cottage has been a godsend for our infant daughter. She was a mere 4 months old when she started, and as new parents, my husband and I were inherently concerned about her development and quality of life overall. Each day we pick her up at Baby Cottage, she has an illuminating smile. The staff is extremely professional, kind, and very much engaged with each child. Everyday we receive a detailed hand-written report-out on her progress, which I have a great deal of respect for personally. As parents, we also value that Baby Cottage has no TVs, as we've heard stories where daycares simply use television as a device to distract/calm the children vs. actually interacting with them. Not to mention, they supply all diapers, formula, and food for the children. You cannot find a better situation than this. I highly recommend The Baby Cottage to any parent whether your child is an infant or toddler.”

2051 Palmer Ave, Larchmont“In 2015, Discovering Me welcomed our family, and now after 8 years and 3 children in the program we must sadly say our goodbyes. We feel so grateful to have found this program!Discovering Me provides a child friendly learning environment, with many opportunities for kids to be independent. All three of my children mastered many self help skills needed for everyday tasks, that made my life a whole lot easier. The program maintains positive adult-child relationships, and encourages family engagement. Carol and Laurie prepare monthly newsletters to inform families of the happenings and add friendly reminders. The program follows daily routines, and schedules that helped my children feel safe and secure in knowing what to expect when they arrived at school each day. We always looked at the monthly calendar sent home to see what the themes were each week. My kids loved looking for books or toys related to the theme and on occasion I was convinced to buy clothes to match the theme. My daughter now has a very stylish dinosaur dress. All three of my children were lucky to have Mrs. Christine, and assistant Ms. Dee. She has a great reputation in the community, and she is a passionate teacher that provides a warm and comforting environment. All of my kids LOVED going to school and talk about Mrs. Christine as if she is part of our family.I firmly believe that building an early positive association with learning is essential to our kids' growth. All of my children found a solid beginning at Discovering Me. The graduation ceremony is magnificent. They really do a great job!”

The management team under Andressa has created the best environment I have seen to date. The teachers are great with the kids, the programs engaging and my kids are happy there. I would recommend to anyone considering.”

112 W Hartsdale Ave, Hartsdale“I love that this is a house, the class rooms feel like living rooms. They have many playgrounds outside and the kids go out two or three times a day, weather depending. In the summer they play with water outside. My child loves it, our second one will go there, too. It was recommended by my neighbors who bring their second one there. One complaint is that they use disposable plastic ware for food and drinks. Sadly this is normal in this country and is usually difficult to fix due to lack of space, this is why I am understanding for their situation and do not subtract a star ;)”

421 Atlantic St, Stamford“The staff at TLE Stamford have been so warm and inviting to my son and our family! The directors greet you as soon as you walk in and know each child by name which is impressive with so many little ones! My son’s teachers have been so loving and attentive. My husband and I have seen him grow and develop so much since starting daycare and it is truly a testament to the time and dedication the staff at TLE put into fostering all of the children. We highly recommend TLE!”
“My children have been at Pat-A-Cake since they were in the infant room at five months old. We have made our way up to the Pre K room and have loved every stop along the way. The facility is clean and filled with fun and education material for the children. My children have made wonderful friends in their classes and have connected with each of their teachers. It is obviously that the staff cares deeply for the children and they go above and beyond to make the environment both fun and education. The socialization, education and nurturing my children have experience here have been priceless. We enjoy seeing smiling parents in the parking lot and happy kids running inside to see their teachers in the morning. I cannot recommend Pat-A-Cake enough!”
“The teachers here are wonderful, caring professionals - it is a truly nurturing environment. Good teacher to student ratio with fully certified teachers who clearly understand early childhood. The huge, age appropriate playground with a mud kitchen is a big bonus - the kids typically get 2 hours of outdoor play each day.”
“Great school from my experience! My son loved going to school here from the explorer program all the way to pre-K 4. They have lovely enrichment options like field trips, music and gym. They are welcoming and inclusive to all. The lesson plans are always sent to you as a parent ahead of time and they incorporate family projects into their monthly curriculum. I have been thrilled with them and appreciate that the lunch and snack program is inclusive in the tuition. As a hard working parent, I recognize they are not for profit and run by a board inclusive of parents. These are all benefits to the "everyday" working parent and the reasons why I refer them to my friends. Too often, we are quick to write reviews on negative experiences, myself included. I wanted to take the time to note this positive one for future parents considering applying to this school. Schedule a tour and check them out, you can decide for yourself. I cannot say enough good things, even through the uncertain times of the covid pandemic where everyone was learning to navigate a new path, they communicated upfront and valued parental feedback. Their was notable turnover in staff during that time as with all industries but this has since stabilized. I can honestly say they have always made every effort to accommodate the collective needs of the parents. This speaks volumes as to why my children return year after year.”
“We have been beyond thrilled with Building Blocks High Ridge. We moved over to this location about 9 months ago now and we have honestly been blown away by the attention and love that is given to our almost 2 year old. The facilities are bright with lots of windows and the gym and playground are incredible. Everything is size and age appropriate. They do a ton of fun projects, read lots of books and truly follow a curriculum. We are lucky enough to have Miss Maryori and Miss Sandy as our son's main teachers. To me there is no more important job in the world than who is watching our children, and these women are kind, smart, and truly care about the well being of these kids. I highly recommend Building Blocks High Ridge.”
