Large variety and knowledgeable staff. Caesar helped me and is incredibly patient and friendly and was so helpful in picking out different wines and liquor for gifts!

What an awful store! Nasty attitude employees. Not such great prices or selection either. Let's just say... if it was the last liquor store on earth, I'd have to stop drinking!

they advertise flyer discount 20% wine and 10% spirits when i went to the counter it was just the regular price tag that was on the shelf like any other day they said that includes the extra discount its there everyday price so its a scam discount flyer just to lure people in and then they charge .30 for a very small paper bag . this place use to be great when it was Bev Max new ownership now they see $$$ .

There are pros and cons to this store. The pros involve their choice of wines. It it large in term of the various types they offer, and the price range that is quite wide from very inexpensive to quite pricey. The cons have been noted by other reviewers, the cashiers are mostly unfriendly and not very knowledgeable . Even pricing issues seem to go beyond their ability. Duh Also, there are times when one gets a bad bottle. The wine has gone bad - no question about it, and yet they do everything in their power to not refund or give a credit. This is just plain stupid. It's a formula for losing good customers. Duh. . Hope they read this because they really need to do better on this point. Also, from time to time they clearly cheat! Walk up to the checkout with a bottle that is clearly marked on the case and shelf at say $23.95, and they check it out at $34.75. . Hey! you just stole $11 from me. If you happen to catch the error, they feign surprise, and go thru theatrics before they finally admit the "error" and give you the right price. This only happens once or twice, and CUSTOMER NEVER COMES BACK. For the moment the pros outweigh the cons, but it's starting to get close to yet another LOST CUSTOMER, and that Hudson Wines is your major problem.

I wish the old owners would come back! Most people that work there are extremely rude and unfriendly like they don't even want to be there. Especially at the register they sit there like they are bored to death. If you don't like people why don't you get a job as a night watchman! LOL there are plenty of other liquor stores around with much better customer service. I suggest everybody take their business to varmax on Putnam Avenue in Port chester. And their prices are better to boot
