The tall, senior-looking bank clerk at the counter on Friday, Sept 22nd needs to check up his customer service skills. His evident lack of patience and a somehow irate voice tone have made me feel unwelcome. He’s probably loved by regular Chase customers who know the drill of their banking there because they are, indeed, Chase banking customers. However, his dreadful treatment of non-banking Chase customers like me has now made a visit to this branch a very unpleasant experience and I will now have to travel further to pay for my Chase products as it’s due. A disgrace.

I have tried many times, to call for customer assistance and not once was able to get through to the Pleasantville bank. Calling the local phone number, calls are diverted automatically to an Automatic system. It is unfortunate to have a local bank and no customer service, no one to call. A few years ago, the manager Bill was always available to engage with customers.. He sahred is direct number with customers so people could have access to assistance. Phone calls went through smoothly. Today, the interest of the individual customer even when visiting in person, is aloof.

We went to open a bank account but they were closing in 30 min. Not knowing how long it might take, we followed the banker Ms.Liljana into her office. Over the next hour or so, she patiently and diligently walked us through each step, until we walked out the door with not just a new account but also the online and mobile accounting set up, plus, a cordial goodbye and a kind note at the end welcoming us to come back for any future assistance that we might need. Just the best customer service.Thankful for the amazing staff here!

The staff at this branch are kind, but I can’t get over the fact that Chase has pumped over $317 Billion into fossil fuels since the Paris Accord was signed in 2016. They are driving the climate crisis! Visit fossilbanks.org for more info.

I've done my banking at chase bank for a long time and my mom is a private client. She told me a few weeks ago that she went to this location and people refused to help her and forced her to use the machine after she asked repeatedly to speak with someone instead. It was not crowded and people were available. She told me the customer service was terrible and I should've listened. We went back in and I had my infant with me and told them I wanted to open an account for him. They told me to wait a few minutes, which actually turned into almost an hour. During my wait, a man said to make sure I had the baby's social security number etc, which I made sure I had. Then, after spending an hour waiting on such a nice day, a woman said sorry someone very sick was in here so we had to let the office air out. This made me extremely uncomfortable. Not to mention, she then said I needed other documents that the other person didn't mention, so she couldn't help me. Not that I wanted to sit around in that germ infested office anyway, but come on. After an hour wait? What a waste.
