Went to ask for the post master regarding my mail and a very rude and disrespectful worker (PHIL...with the mask and gloves behind the wall of plastic). I simple asked for the postmaster name and he refused to give ot to me and said she will be back in 2 weeks. He then continues to talk under his breath while I was leaving....not good for a small town.

I have lived in many towns in this area and the Pleasant Valley post office is by far my favorite. They’re always so friendly and they do their job to the best of their abilities. I have to go in daily so it’s nice that they make things easy and do it with a smile. Even in the face of rude, unreasonable customers.

Excellent customer service by post office staff. Recently I left my keys in the mailbox at the post office lobby and the Postmaster Crystal waited for me before closing the post office to return the ? keys to me.

Located in a location that turns into a nightmare, the main parking lot is very small and there isn't enough room and space to move around, especially when leaving. Better off using the bigger lot when packed located in the Dollar General plaza. Dealing with a postal worker is never an issue for us, as we use it regularly when needed. Although the room is fairly small which can cause the line to go out into the hallway plus even outside when busy and it's not enjoyable. Two workers will do it, but it won't be the quickest. 5 stars for the workers who do their part, but the problem is what's bringing it down.

I've been using this post office for YEARS and do a ton of shipping because I sell my clothes online and the ladies who work here are just wonderful. So sweet and helpful every time. I've never experienced any issues here in the 10+ years I've been coming and am not quite sure what the others are complaining about. They provide a great service and my packages are always delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.

These people S U C K A Disgruntled women at the desk when you come in the door? Didn't do S ..Hit for me. Just trying to send back a package THEY dropped off at MY house, and all I needed to return it BEFORE it expires. "Sir, do you have a mask?" NO I DON'T "Well we can't help you here without a mask" Well that's stupid, guess I ain't doing business here. She was nasty. There is Zero recommendation in Dutchess county to HAVE to where a mask. They SUCK at Arrnoff Complex in Pleasant Valley,NY SOMT GO. Now, what do I do and where do I go for my return.

My elderly mother has used this post office for decades. However, recently, when she mails packages from there, they never show up to their intended recipient. This has happened on more than one occasion, so I have urged her to take her business elsewhere. This is ridiculous.

The two ladies working today were absolute dolls. Friendly, helpful, patient, and had a good sense of humor. This time of year is particularly busy for them and with covid it’s nice to see them still smiling and with a positive attitude.

I'm sure some staff are great, but there is one individual there who is incredibly rude and disrespectful to customers. I watched him yell at 5 people in a row for coming in to the room when there was a three person max, and each one of these people simply said they didn't see the sign. I mentioned that the sign was probably too small, he proceeded to take his petty revenge by repeatedly measuring my package. There is more to this, but when he told me I would have to pay more due to the size, I told him I was taking it to another post office. Sure enough, he was overcharging me by $4.00. (The other post office also measured the package.) Not sure that's even legal!

I have visited this post office from time to time, and there has never been a problem in terms of courtesy or service. The parking lot, however, is a bit awkward.
