“This is the best post office I've ever been to. The post master is helpful, kind and very pleasant. He helps me with all sorts of mailing ideas saving me worry and money. I was there a week ago and I could see an elderly woman just leaving. I went to hold the door for her but the post master was already there. He then escorted her to her truck and helped him into it. When he came back, he apologized for the delay. Can we have more people like him, please?”

“I love my post office, primarily because of Mary and her senior citizen doggie, Bailey. Last year, I had a nightmare of an experience at the Pleasant Valley P.O. The person did not give me tracking info for the right package. Bottom line, I lost $100. and had NO MERCHANDISE because of this error. I called Mary in CC and she explained in great detail what had happened, which I SO appreciated. I love Mary, because she take time with each person and LISTENS, which is still a lost art. Thank you for the chance to comment on a person who is just SO appreciated by many of us!”
“I had what would have been for me a massive print job that had to get done TODAY. That job would have taken me several hours to print, collate, staple, stuff and mail. The Shipping Place printed, collated and stapled the whole thing in about 20 minutes (max). They then helped me stuff my prepaid envelopes and let me put those envelopes in their mail pickup system.Excellent, excellent service, Ted! Thank you!!”

“I originally visited the Poughkeepsie store for an Amazon return. A kid wearing a literal clown wig told me that I had to rent a computer for $3 and print the label for 50 cents. I left with the package never making the return. Then I came down to Wappingers. The guy here went above and beyond to help me email the label and print it. He was sharp, helpful, and courteous.”

“The Millbrook post office is a great place. The staff is always so helpful and friendly, they get to know/recognize which faces go with which PO boxes and I find that wonderful. The retail section is constantly stocked with whatever shipping supplies you may need, from boxes to padded envelopes and even greeting cards!!! They have a lovely selection of birthday card, thank you cards, congratulatory cards etc. I always enjoy my trips to the Millbrook post office.”

If you're not happy with the USPS in general, that's one thing. But the people who work here have made this feel like a small town post office and it's been nice to see many of the same staff members through the ups and downs of the past 6 years or so. This is a family owned and operated business that moves everything from personal possessions to the most sensitive and highest technology equipment. I also used them for storage when I ordered new furniture, but my place wasn't ready. They do a great job; I highly recommend them.”
